OK Tire

Recently had a 1996 suburban 'power steering pump' repaired at the Golden BC OK Tire - the service was friendly, exceptional, the work was efficient, reasonable and very much appreciated. Thanks guys.

Had a flat tire in the middle of the night. Tow truck driver dropped my car off at OK Tire and says it's the best place in town. They put 2 tires on my car first thing in the morning. No BS No go-around. Got exactly what I asked for at a very reasonable price. Next time I break down in Golden, I will look for them again. Thanks guys!

We had a brake failure going downhill towards Golden on a Saturday of a long weekend. They got us in and fixed up quickly, by the time we walked downtown for lunch, looked at a shop then walked back the car was ready.They changed a very reasonable labour rate and was extreamly kind.Thank you for saving our trip.

I had my tire “repaired” in Calgary twice last week at my local Canadian Tire and was told I was good to go on Friday morning. I made the trip to Golden but my tire was leaking air and I had to refill it the whole way. I left my car at OK Tire as they were closed when I arrived in Golden and got picked up by my husband who is working in the area. I spoke with Sean on Saturday morning and asked if they had time to try to either repair the tire again or look at installing a new set. He assured me they had time to help and that he’d look into stock for my tire size and call me back. He called back a short while later and they did not have any tires in stock but he said they’d try to repair it. He called back less than two hours later and said the car was done and ready to go. Apparently the hole in my tire was still evident and Canadian Tire had not sufficiently tried to patch it. Everything held up on the way back to Calgary - thanks Sean and OK Tire for fitting me in on short notice and for fixing my tire correctly!

My truck began leaking radiator fluid just as I arrived in town. I was worried because I was just visiting and didn’t know about the shops here (basically a prime target to be ripped off by an unscrupulous mechanic). Was referred to OK Tire. Spoke to Shaun (Shawn?) at the front. Besides being personable and helpful, he and his team found the problem and fixed it within 20 minutes. Reasonable charges (under $100.00). I was worried about a mechanic misdiagnosing and charging me an arm and a leg for a repair I didn’t need. Not this shop. They were honest and fair. Highly, highly recommended if you need mechanic services in Golden.

Van started spewing smoke or steam. On our way home to AB from Salmon Arm. Limped the van in to Ok Tire. They were super busy but helped me anyway. Can’t thank them enough. If I lived here I would bring my vehicles here for service. But I recommend an appointment. Haha

We cannot thank Mario and OK Tire in Golden enough! After a truck breakdown on the TransCanada interrupted our family trip to Kelowna, OK Tire came highly recommended by the tow truck driver, and they went above and beyond! Despite a busy schedule they squeezed us in and had the truck back running by the end of the day, even staying late for us to pick it up! Thank you so much!!

So thankful for the help we got today on the start of our vacation. After experiencing car problems on Sat mid afternoon we limped into Golden looking for help. Several places turned us away and we were so thankful that OK tires were able to do a quick 10 minute diagnostic & send us on our way. These guys are great. These guys helped me out with a tough alignment on my car, the suspension is fully adjustable and I needed it set to a certain spec. They helped me out and charged a very fair price.Then just this past fall, right after the first decent snowfall (was also a long weekend), I decided to order winter tires and rims. I was able to get them on my truck in a matter of days.
