Great staff. Knowledgeable and friendly. Just limited selection of especially beer, due to the small size of the store.

The manager of this location named Bruce requires sensitivity training, and a dispute resolution class perhaps. As a disabled man in his store I have been subjected to insensitive comments, a lack of regard for my physical limitations. He was entirely unapologetic when I specifically got the courage up to take him aside personally and explain my concerns with his behaviour. Rather he grew impatient and visibly annoyed that I was bringing up his lack of sensitivity. I'm ashamed to see behaviour such as this in 2017, Brentwood Bay is a small town, but this is no excuse at all for this behaviour. I have also logged a formal complaint with the liquor distribution head office in Vancouver, and I'm hopeful that this causes Bruce to be held to a standard of decency when dealing with all members of the public.

This is a really nice and well kept store with a good selection of drink. Most of the staff are really nice too which makes shopping here more appealing.

Been in liquor stores in Britain, Quebec, Ontario, Alberta liquor stores both private and government. British Columbia government liquor stores have a wide selection of spirits, wine and beer, better than the rest.

Hey hows about when someone calls you at 650pm on a thursday to reserve something that only your store has, for pick up right away, you tell them you close at 7pm rather than 9pm like all the other bcl's so someone doesn't drive from Langford and waste their time and gas.

A very large selection of spirits, beer and wine with certain brands and versions of existing brands not available at the Sidney location. The store is very clean and the staff are friendly, one of the guys stocking the shelves asked me if I was looking for anything in particular and when I said that I wasn't sure, he suggested a very unique white wine for me to try. He told me that when I'm done with it to come back for another suggestion, so I will definitely do that!
