I hired Howie for a total repaint of my basement. He gave a quick, clear, and fair estimate. He was very upfront with what he could do, and what he recommended against. He was flexible scheduling the work, worked hard, and the work was done with good quality. I would hire him again.

I needed a job done, but didn’t know where to start looking for a professional painter. I went on Google to search through reviews and came across Coquitlam Painting among others with high ratings. I called several and received quotes, and chose to go with Howie at Coquitlam Painting. The main reason was because he ( the owner) was personally committing to do the work from start to finish, as opposed to sending out a crew with instructions on what was discussed. He was courteous, punctual and detail oriented. It was obvious pretty quickly Howie not only had a lot of experience, but he could give a master class with his painting techniques; he cuts in like nothing I’ve ever seen. Howie gave us the best quote with no hidden surprises. It’ll be one of the rare occasions in life where you get champagne at beer prices.I could go on, but the bottom line is, if you want top quality service, great communication throughout and satisfaction upon job completion give Howie a call at Coquitlam Painting. I am not easily impressed, but I was.

Howie did an amazing job on a small residential job for me - painting my high stairwells - which I didn't have the capacity to do on my own. He responded to my inquiry about a quote very quickly, with a proposal in my inbox within 24hrs. Brought a colleague along to get the job done in 1 day (2 coats). Still amazed at how quick and efficient they were, with sharp edges and very even coverage. Very easy going and professional. Super pleased with the whole experience!

With the stress of having just moved into our home and not having our usual contractors, we were trepidatious about finding a painter to work on the whole interior of our home. Howie responding quickly and had a quote into to us within 24 hrs. Howie was on point with his quote, time frame and quality of work. He had to match colors from a different paint company from our previous home to our current house and it worked out great. Howie was easy to work with and maintained consistent communication throughout the duration of the job.

Could not have asked for a better experience. Howie was onsite quoting my job within 1 hour of me calling him. Rate were very reasonable. He did some prep the day he visited. Returned two days later to paint trim, doors and walls for my 1 bedroom. I am very impressed with his attention to detail, speed and friendly deminer. Howie helped us out big time! Showed up and started the same day as it was a small complex job. He did the trim 3 times as he felt it needed another coat but included it in his original price.This was all high entry way walls and crown moulding, window trim and return, and ceiling touch up my wife wouldn’t let me do (too high).Happy with the job he did and would use him again.
