Hi,My bike was stolen yesterday and I reported to the police department. It was minor thing and I lose hope to find it but they (police men) find it for me. I really appreciate it. I specially thanks to Mr. Bakir Medencevic and his colleague. They both did great job. Thank you officer's.

Have had my vehicle broken into 3 times downtown. Same with multiple others in my apartment complex. Have called to report to Guelph police every time... fill out the report, they come get the footage that clearly identifies the individuals, and then never hear from them again. Did they catch them? Did they retrieve stolen property? Are they being held accountable for damages? Obviously not because crime continues to occur at the same time, same days of the week, in the same location. All at the expense of the citizen who pays these people’s wages. Horrible

Having serious issues in our plaza due to the road closure on speedvale and silvercreek.... Public traffic is cutting through and so far people on foot and in vehicles have almost been hit. Police have been called and city and no one does anything.... This plaza is sooo small and this traffic is making it very unsafe for everyone. I myself was almost hit while walking, reported and no one has done anything.Come on now!!

I was pulled over yesterday morning by a Guelph officer for a minor traffic violation.I found the officer to be a totally courteous and fair person. Police have a difficult but critical job in keeping our city safe.Thank you

The officers at the front desk are extremely rude. When I tried to report that a 911 operator did not send the police when my house was being broken into, I was told that they had no record of any 911 calls from my phone. I showed them the call history on my phone which clearly showed that I had called 911 over a dozen times. They shrugged their shoulders and said well in our system it says you never called".They then refused to give me my ID (driver's licence) back. The officer insisted that it was a fake ID... The ID was an Ontario licence in pristine condition as I just had it replaced/renewed. He gave it to another officer to check it out on the computer. The entire time we waited

My neighbours were having a domestic dispute late this evening and I called in to report it. The operator was very helpful and understanding, and when we got disconnected, the other operator who answers transferred me back to her immediately. The police arrived within minutes of my call and handled the situation very professionally. My only complaint is that the people were not really given any sort of punishment despite this sort of this happening monthly. The matter was quite violent, and I believe the people could have stood to have more than a slap on the wrist.Overall, communication and everything to do with the operator were 12 out of 10, she could not have handled it better.

Worst police force. Officers are very biased in their work. They dont help you with directions they just write you a ticket if you end up going the wrong way following GPS in a construction zone. Will be fighting ticket not trying to be a part of their quotas.

GPS is an amazing Police Service, I love seeing them patrolling core from druggies and never had an issue when I need some of my questions answered.I would help them 100% if I ever see officer in struggle with someoneThey've got your back 100%Personally I wish there would be more unmarked traffic unit circling throughout the City

Service really depends on the day and the person you get to deal with. Lately they have been good. Took time to speak with me over some false complaints made against me by a guy in town who sells used cars on Gordon Street. Called me direct on the phone and made me aware of the slander and assured me not to worry over it. I appreciated the call and took the officer's advice on how to deal with the other party.

Constables and officers were fine, but the dispatcher was embarrassingly unprofessional. She seemed to have no interest in preserving public safety. An officer was eventually sent, but the gaslighting and hostility from the dispatcher was not necessary for her to do her job correctly.Although it was obviously a life-or-death emergency, she told me she was busy handling other 'actual emergencies'. Funny, because the officer I spoke with later told me that it was, in fact, a real emergency. She needs re-training on how to answer phones respectfully. I understand being a 911 dispatcher is stressful and draining, but she needs to be reminded that it is inappropriate for her to take her frustrations out on people who are already experiencing emergencies. In my opinion, if she's unable to do her job in a professional manner, she shouldn't be in this industry.
