Dave Renwick Car Sales

Recently I was in the market to buy a vehicle. Which I might add needed asap. When i contacted Dave it seemed that he know me already but I never met with him before. Told him I was interested in a particular truck he had on his lot and next thing I knew I was driving it off his lot.Dave was friendly towards me and in the process made it easy to buy the truck. He was vary helpful in getting me on the road.I read some of these other people who bad mouth Dave but I believe they have it wrong.Thanks DaveGary N

Rudest guy ever. I phoned this individual enquiring about purchasing a truck on his lot. I told him I wished to bring the truck to my mechanic to have it checked out. He screamed at me and told me he didn't have time or patience to have his certified vehicles looked at by mechanics. I got lucky. If you are thinking about buying a vehicle from this guy please see his reaction when you ask to take a vehicle to your trusted mechanic. After reading the reviews I wonder who is putting their mechanics license on the line to certify this guys vehicles. I hope someone reports him. He seems like a fraudulent POS that preys on people that are not in the know or are just trusting decent people. I would give negative stars if possible. Dave go find a tall building and jump.

Complete trash car dealership. Accused my brother of trying to steal from the vehicles since he was looking in them to check out interior after not ONE person came out to help him. The vehicle wasn't even locked and it is supposed to be a car dealership. He thought yelling at my brother was okay and called him a little punk who couldn't even afford anything on the lot. Meanwhile he had cash on him to drive a vehicle off the lot. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these terrible people and joke of a place.

Watch out for Dave.The day I show to pick up the truck I bought from Dave I come to find there is only one key for the vehicle. Although Dave stated he doesn't detail cars until after sale, I come to find the vehicle in appalling conditions, beyond filthy.Upon arriving home I discovered a rusted old used tire hidden in the truck box (doesn't belong too or fit the truck).As I drove the truck home i noticed that it sounded much louder than during my initial test drive. Upon taking the truck to my mechanic for further inspection, he deemed that the vehicle had extensive damage and wear to the exhaust system from manifolds to tail pipe and should not have met the drive clean standards due to the leaking exhaust. The vehicle was purchased etested and certified. Makes me wonder how well of a job was done on the safety inspection.I only wish that I had reviewed this dealership prior to making this purchase, as I would never have purchased this vehicle if I had known of others experiences. Lesson learned on my behalf, I only hope that others do not experience this level of deceit.

Total douche. Extremely rude. Threw me off the lot because I was holding my vaporizer in my hand. Not using it, just holding it.I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere. Too bad you can't rate 0 starsUPDATE:Ended up getting great financing and customer service from 5 star dealer on Dundas. Extremely thankful I was able to spend my $29,000 at a dealership that knows how to treat people with respect.

This man is simply a pure racist, as i held an electronic vaper in my hand without blowing any smoke or using it in respect of just stepping onto what i thought was a reputable business, with absolutely no reason he asked me to step off his property immediately as he does not want smokers on his property. As i quickly apologized and he assured him i had not and would not be using the vaper and i was simply putting it back into my pocket, he then proceeded to ask me to step off his property, and that he owned it and had every right to ask me to leave. When i asked him kindly why the dramatic request to leave his property he told me he did not have to tell me and demanded i get off asap, almost as if he was provoking me. I had heard prior to checking out his dealership that he was a sleeze bag crook and racist but thought i would give him benefit of doubt. Low and behold, within 10 seconds he proved evryone right. A racist man sitting in his trailer eating what looked like microwaved tv dinner he held while yelling at me, angry at anyone slightly more tanned than him. Sorry excuse of a human. I purchased a truck that wasn't detailed. Dave said it was because he doesn't have running water. That shouldn't stop a shopvac and a couple lysol wipes. The truck ended up rusting out a year later. 0 Stars if I could give that.

Auto Planet -- Horrible business etiquette. Sold me a lemon of a car. 3 major problems and I've owned it for 6 months. He talked it up like it was great and hid all the problems with it. He even recharged the A/C coolant, talked about how ice cold the A/C was. Then after purchasing the car find out there's a leak in the hoses and it's leaking coolant. After agreeing to purchase this vehicle he said he would do me a favour and put 4 brand new tires on the car since the ones on it where practically bare. Well guess what, he never put the new tires on. I took it into a mechanic and they told me there's no way these should have past safety as one more season on them they would be riding on wires.. This guy is a pure trickster and I would not recommend him to anybody. Change your business etiquette and stop screwing people over.

Went with a young buddy of mine who was looking to buy his first car to be used getting to and from college and also for a start up car for his business. He made ALL kinds of promises to the young buyer and told him everything he wanted to hear as a first time car buyer. He promised that the a/c was in excellent condition and even told us that his wife was using this reliable car and had to keep the a/c on low since it was so cold. He also promised to replace all four tires including the hub caps which were broken, but he did not. Basically he lied just to take advantage of a young student who needed to have a reliable car but ended up pouring all of his school money that he had saved, into repairs. I shudder to think that there will be more people ripped off...do yourself a favour....go somewhere else!!!
