Devonshire Retirement Residence

My Mom was admitted to the hospital and when she was going to be discharged we had to find a place for her to go. We toured Devonshire and the management there were outstanding. We decided to bring her there to respit and never regretted it one day. The care our mom received was wonderful. They had nothing but compassion, love, and great care.. In her latter stages she was palative and the compassion and love they showed towards our mom and our family went above and beyond. The Nurses , the psw workers and the management could not have done anymore than what they did. We can't thank them enough and we were so blessed that our mom's final journey was at Devonshire Retirement Home. Our dad has been enjoying life at Devonshire Retirement Residence for over a year now and it brings so much comfort to us to know he's happy and safe. Devonshire staff are to be commended on their over and above precautions during the pandemic to keep residents protected and family informed. He's made some friends and finds his apartment to be just right for his needs. He loves the variety of foods and good care he receives. Such kind staff are truly appreciated. It's a clean beautifully kept building at a great location for us. Thank-you Sandy and Debra for settling him in and being so easy to reach out to.

My mom has been at Devonshire for about 6 years now. The staff has been wonderful! My mom has built great relationships with the staff and gained some new friendships with fellow residents. The only thing my mom ever really complains about is the menu sometimes but often thinks the meals are good. She is an amazing cook so her bar is very high.Trying to please so many on restrictive diets cant be easy.I am grateful for all the support Deonshire has provided my mom with and my mind is at ease having her in their hands!

This is the best location in Windsor overlooking the spectacular Detroit skyline and many activities on the riverfront. Mother has been there for 10+ years and has made many friends. Staff has been very helpful as her needs have changes several times during this time. Thank you!

We moved Mom in last month on the retirement side. Everyone at Devonshire is friendly, helpful and nice. We feel at ease knowing our mom is being cared for and listened to. Everyone that works there knows her name and they really take an effort to make you feel welcome and secure. We’re happy that our loved one is being looked after so well. For the last 7 years Devonshire has been home to our loved one and during this time the care, staff and accommodation has been exceptional. Staff are friendly, professional and attentive to the needs of the residents. Communication is regular and informative from the home and should be applauded especially during the pandemic of the last 2 years. We’d also like to acknowledge Tonia C. and Darlyn F. who assisted us on many occasions especially when visits were not possible.Our family would not hesitate to refer any one looking for a Retirement Residence, to Devonshire.

My mom lived at Devonshire for 8 years and loved it. She enjoyed the many weekly activities like sing-alongs and exercise class, the theme based activities like trick or treating with the grandkids and the special event days like Canada Day BBQ. The caring staff made sure that all her needs were met. Even when her health declined, they provided more support. My mom made lovely friends and wonderful memories at Devonshire.

I am employed by Devonshire Retirement Home which is an ExcellentEstablishment. Staff is Great to work with, very helpful if any assistance is required on the job.Office staff as well as the people in charge are all Amazing.No regrets of being employed here, great team to be working with.

A very well managed Retirement Home. My good friend stayed here for a few years and enjoyed her life . Very good view from the balcony, over looking the Detroit River and the Detroit City on the US side.
