Starlit Point

Got married here on July 17th, 2021. Lance and Emily were so amazing to work with! They communicated with us all along the way and made sure all of our expectations were met. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the bridal cottage is great for getting ready throughout the day. We paid extra to stay the night which was a nice touch since we didn't have to worry about getting back to our house in the city. I love that they offered that as a service. Lance was around during the day of, and made sure to help us out if we had any last minute changes. There are so many places to take photos and you can really get a mix of photos. If you're looking for a romantic venue with a natural/outdoor vibe, Starlit is the place for you.

We were asked to set-up our Photo Booth at this venue. Absolutely beautiful venue- at first we were a bit worried as we didn’t realize that it was a clear tent and our mirrors are like iPads and hard to see in sunlight. The owner had everything set-up ready for us to do our set-up. He worked with the wedding planner and assisted us to make sure we provided the best experience we could for the couple. This is a stunning venue. Very well taken care of. The washrooms and grounds were very clean. Would definitely recommend this venue! We hope to work with them again. (Maybe the next time with our Camper Photobooth.)

When my husband and I were looking at venues we happened to stumble across Starlit Point after their first wedding season. We were so impressed with how beautiful and well laid out the venue was. The bridal cottage was perfect for the guys and girls to get ready and made a beautiful backdrop for my mom and sisters doing up my dress. It was also a great place for us to hide out" and relax right before the ceremony. The ceremony spot was also beautiful with the river and the greenery in the background. We didn't feel the need to decorate the tent beyond what we put on the tables because the drapery made the perfect "airy" backdrop we were looking for. Our guests have raved that this was the best wedding they had been too and (as a biased oppinon) I couldn't agree more! The venue made it easy for us to seamlessly move into the cocktail hour and we were able to spend time with our guests 1-on-1 before dinner. I could go on forever

A couple weekends ago I was working and set up at Starlit Point. It’s such a beautiful place for events for wedding that I highly recommend it.It’s great that if you live in Winnipeg and looking for an event place still out of the city yet close. I think if I remember correctly it’s like half an hour from the city.

The venue is what I have always dreamt of, celebrating love under a clear tent, enjoying the nature around. Not only was the venue wonderful but also Emily and Lance for their kindness & patience in answering all our questions.

What a beautiful venue! I just photographed here this past summer and this venue did not disappoint. It has tons of photographic potential and the tent was beautiful and spacious for the reception. Usually for outdoor venues you get eaten alive by mosquitos but we had no issues at all on this wedding. Hope some of these photos help on what's possible to capture there : )

My friend had his wedding there recently and it was a very nice venu. The tent they have is very sturdy on a nice concrete pad and the bathrooms are all individual rooms which is good. Great view over the river as well!

Starlit Point is hands down one of my favourite venues! Having photographed there when it first opened and seeing all the changes that has been made over the past year, it has only gotten more beautiful. It is located just south of Winnipeg. It has a clear tent right beside trees for shade, has a cottage for the wedding party to get ready in (also the bride & groom can stay overnight), and there are numerous different areas on the property for photo opportunity.The owners (E + L) are lovely people and are very easy to talk to. If you are contemplating on booking Starlit Point, do not hesitate. I look forward to spending more time at this venue for another upcoming styled shoot (I am a wedding photographer), and many weddings to come!

My team from EE Media Productions and I have filmed several weddings here the past few years. We absolutely love filming here because there are plenty of areas within the venue to take photos and videos at and to add to that, their tent along with the patio lights across the venue just shines perfectly at night making for such beautiful picturesque scenes for photos and videos.

We recently had our wedding at Starlit Point, and it was perfect! The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Lance and Emily were always quick to respond to us if we had questions leading up to the day. The bridal cottage was so convenient and we loved spending the day in there prior to the ceremony. Overall wonderful location for a wedding!
