YYC Closets and Glass

We had a closet install scheduled and the Installer did not show up and did not notify us. When we called and asked about it we were told that the installer went to the site where the materials were left, found it locked to keep out the general public, and then assumed it had been taken or stolen and they never pursued it further and never contacted us. It took me 1 phone call and about 15 minutes to verify the location of our parts and how to access, clearly YYC Closets never tried to solve the issue. When I talked to management they ranted to me about how they didn’t even want to install my closet and I could hire a new company to do it or I could be happy with them rescheduling in weeks. The manager said good day and hung up on me while I was part way through a sentence. Company has no customer service skills, can’t do the work promised, and doesn’t take responsibility for their mistakes.

Just had John (tall John) come replace our ensuite mirror.He was kind, patient, willing to answer all our questions and concerns about our mirror and shower door.Thank you for having great customer service skillsThe replacement mirror broke in transit so waiting for the new one. Nice to see a business taking care of customers...visitation by appointment..still have personal touch in their showroom...Kevin and the gang are there to help with all your interior door and closet organizer needs. Awesome glass work as well if you are thinking of bathroom renovation.

make shure all is right before payment or you will get a runaround accordion doors 4 inches to short no magnets in holder accordians so tight they wount stay closed be a long time before I leave any money there

Worst customer service possible. We just moved into a newly built home and YYC was the go to company for the home builder. After taking possession of the new home we saw that it was missing some wire shelves that we had ordered. The home builder made contact with YYC to find out about the missing shelves. I also contacted YYC to ask as about it as well. I made contact with the sales person I was told to deal with and because he would not respond back to me or the builder at all I tried to make contact with the manager. No response from anyone at YYC. I called and left many voice messages and sent many emails. No response to myself or the home builder. After chasing them for three months, I finally got an email response telling me that they had cancelled the order and they did not bother to inform myself or the builder about the cancellation. I asked why they would not let anyone know and they refused to answer that question too. After having some conversations with the owner of the home building company , he started making contact with YYC to get to the bottom of the issue. It took three weeks for YYC to respond back. Finally after 4 months, my shelves were dropped off at the home builders office and left there for them to install them for me as YYC refused to install. A very frustrating company to deal with and obviously they do not care about their clients (the home builder or new home owners) or their own reputation as a good supplier.

[EDIT 26.11.18] Everything is correct in your reply except few things...we didn't change our mind because we were not happy with price. We accept price and we were ready to move on. but after accepting cost your company came to redo basement closet... and instead providing good product you put old damaged boards (pictures attached to original review) and we decided to quit whole deal. if you cant fix simple shelf in closet with 2nd approach we decided not to spend money on something 3x bigger and expect another 2,3 tries to finish it. (just added pict of shelfs after 2nd install in son's closet.. after seeing that no wonder I decided not to pay extra 700-800$ for redesigning master closet)also You decided to remove and redo entire closet cause after walkthrough, you saw that whole design was bad and trying to fix it was harder than redoing whole thing (everything was loosing level not enough support etc)and yes I can provide current pict as well as quality is still below acceptable...btw we are now one shelf shorter...we just decided to leave it and accept the fact that quality of your product doesn't meet standards we expect.YYC shelves as a part of extra package with our townhouse... quality.... terrible.. before we moved and place any items shelves were off level, they installed refurbished shelves with damaged edges touched up with paint...small shelf in one of the bedrooms (picture attached) took 3 trips to look right (first time they measure wrong, cut wrong and install 7inch to short and installer was cool with that)… stay away if you don't want to loose money and time

First off, they installed a mirror in my master bedroom that had a noticable chip/piece of mirror missing from the corner, yet it was still installed and left there. No quality control.Then I called to have the half bath mirror installed, and the master mirror replaced. Set an appointment for a week later on December 20th, AM.No one showed up, no call, no...anything.When I called and asked why no one showed up the answer I got was the installers ran out of time."Then the earliest they could re-book me was 3 weeks later on January 10th as now I went to the back of the que. This was to be finished prior to Christmas and now (IF they show up)

I have used YYC closets and glass many times for 10mm glass shower doors, 6mm shower doors, mirrors and shelving and I have always been very happy with their prices, service and scheduling.

Been using yyc glass for our projects and couldn’t be happier with their installers and quality work. Great job

Had a great experience today at yyc closets and glass. Our sales rep was very friendly and helpful! We really appreciated the approach that Joanne took. The display room had many different options for glass and mirrors. We also got a great closet design built. Very excited to see it come together
