That’s My Spot
My husband and I went here for the first time last night and returned again tonight because it was that good. Both nights, our server was Ryan, a very nice guy, and very good at his job, genuine. We met the manager Brian and chatted with him for a bit. He is a super nice guy. We had a great conversation with him. Now about the food. The chicken souvlaki dinner was amazing. Chicken was tasty, fresh, and very moist. Greek salad better than any I've had, very tasty and fresh ingredients, rice flavorful. The chicken parmesean and pasta with marinara sauce, husband said the best he's had in a restaurant ever. Homemade burgers are really good, moist, and packed with flavor. The chicken club is a traditional style, 3 decker, and the chicken had so much flavor, very good. They have a very big selection of dishes to choose from. The portions are a good size, and the prices are affordable. This is our go-to place from now on. I highly recommend this place, I promise you won't be disappointed.

The food here is great, no issues there. Great portions for the price. However, front of house is awful. There are NEVER enough servers on and there is always a long wait, no matter if the restaurant is busy or not. We waited for five minutes at the door before anyone acknowledged us. The bartender went to the washroom while we were waiting and when she came out she glanced at us and appeared as if she was coming to greet us, however she turned back around and returned to the bar. Finally, someone came and seated us. Our server came to the table and just looked at us before finally asking what are we doing? After our meals were served, our server never came back. I understand sometimes it is busy and you will have to wait, but the staff needs to communicate that to the guests. All it takes is a quick “sorry for the wait, will be with you in a minute”. Honestly, could only ever recommend this place for take out or delivery.

Server was great, food was OK, but the menu has lies in it. Their 13$ lunch menu clearly says that it includes choice of fries, soup or salad with options to upgrade to even better items. Turns out it doesn't include squat. The server herself apologizes saying she knows it's wrong but that's the way it is. Would love to know if they can get pinned for false advertising?

I chose ‘That’s my Spot’ to go yesterday for my birthday lunch with my family as it is one of my favourite restaurants as the food and prices were amazing. Yesterday we noticed the menu was new and had less options for lunch and increased prices. I understand the increased prices as food prices have gone up.. But I was happy that my order of pasta dish now included a side order of soup if requested. But the waitress returned with a message from management right after I placed my order that my selection does not come with soup, salad or fries. Although I really enjoyed the pasta ( was delicious) , I was very disappointed that the soup was not included with the pasta . So the menus is inaccurate or false? Why do you not erase that part on the menu that says these sides are included if requested. , or honour your printed menu? I was very disappointed with ‘That’s my Spot’, especially on my birthday. I had been raving about your restaurant to friends in Scarborough where I live but not anymore. I was very disappointed in ‘That’s my Spot’ especially on my birthday when I was being treated by my family.I am giving 2 stars for the great waitress and good food.

4 of us went in November to this restaurant. Parking is way at the back by the grocery store which is a long walk in the rain. We were surprised how small this restaurant was inside. Food was reasonably priced and tasted pretty good. Menu had a fair amount of choice. Food arrived in a timely manner and was hot. Although I didn't really like the way the shrimp tacos came - shrimp was hot but both taco wrap and fixings were cold. Service was fine. This is not a bad little restaurant but nothing stood out as being extra good. Might or might not return if in the area.

Want to give shout out to Brian and team for the amazing customer service.the restaurant was so busy that all the tables were packed with guests, and everybody was so happy.The food was delicious.and large portions.well worth the price.The hostess Kaylah was friendly,the table was perfectly set with all the cutlery and etc.From the moment of entry through the door, we were welcomed with warm greetings, which set a warm ambiance to our family meal experience at that's my spot.definatley will come back again.

My husband and I went to “that’s my spot” after a very stressful day - luckily we met Sherine. After covid we’ve found Wethe costumer service level - at a lot of restaurants has really gone down. Thank you so much Sherine for your hospitality and making us feel like we were at home. 10/10 for the amazing service.

Went here for our anniversary dinner. Food was absolutely fantastic, great portions and excellent prises. Service had a lot to be desired though. Had to ask for cutlery and pre sets. No quality checks at all. As a server for over 30 years I found so many errors with the service. Would I go back again yes but if it happens again I will speak up.
