Friendly, relaxed guide. Fast boat, really beautiful trip in amazing area. We saw many orca’s, two humpback whales, sea lions. But don’t expect to see what you see in the pictures on their website. Legally they have to stay away at a long distance from the orca’s. We knew this beforehand, but when you’re actylually out there, that distance was disappointing. Without binoculars you can hardly see them. The great pictures you see are either taken with at least 300 mm lenses, or the orca’s happened to swim towards the boats - which happens rarely. My pictures are taken with a zoomed in iPhone - you’ll see the difference.And why this loud disco beat music in the middel of the sea? Come on! This is a trip for people who love to experience Canadian nature and wildlife, don’t spoil that with your loud and poor choice of music. Thanks for turning it off when I asked for it, but still.

Had a amazing blast, Felt like a private tour. Loved that we were on a smaller boat can get closer to the whales and animals at a safe distance and not scare them away. Andrew is a great Captain and Great guy. He put on a show for us. Awesome! He really made sure we saw some whales!! Thanks!!

Authentic Pacific Northwest experience! Great boat, solid crew and exciting whale watching. The views were fabulous. We even got to dock in a small coastal town for lunch. Definitely book with White Rock Sea Tours!

Captain Andy is amazing, we had a great day rocking to oldies but goodies while boating to our whale watching destination. Seen 4 whales on the hunt for seals. Then enjoyed a late lunch in Stevenson on the pier.

An unforgettable day on the water! We saw orcas and sea lions galore and learned a lot from the naturalist on board. Highly recommend White Rock Sea Tours, and Captain Andy is top-notch!

What an amazing experience!! Being from out of province we weren't sure about the proper season to actually see whales but we booked anyway. We showed up excited, captain Andrew knew this was a bucket list item for us. We got geared up and headed out, unfortunately the ocean was very angry on this attempt and we could not continue the tour. For the safety of the crew, the boat, the animals and us the guests we made our way back to the dock and will try a different day. Lisa and Captain Andrew knew we were staying for a few more days and offered us another attempt . They stayed in close contact with us to monitor weather and water conditions. We did make it out on a second attempt and captain Andrew put forward his best effort for us to see the beautiful whales but it just wasn't the right time. We had a first class seat to a colony of sea lions though! What loud creatures. Also seen cute little Harbour seals.We enjoyed a snack and drink at a picturesque little pub on a far away island. Absolutely want to come back and try again! Thank you white rock sea tours for the chance and keeping us safe !... (wanted to add pictures, but not sure how)

We had a great time with our 5 and 8 years old kids.however the weather was cold for the kids but we had enough clothes for them. We could not see any Orca whale on the way to island but see the seals and eagles which was so amazing experience for us. After having lunch at port Sydney , we could track a group of whales and wow! 8-10 Orca Whales swimming and just an amazing experience. I wish l have not forgotten my camera and could take better photo.Recommend this tour for all families.

This was such a memorable trip. Andy and the other attendant (can’t remember her name) were awesome and really let us take time with taking pictures and observing. They found where all the orcas and humpbacks were and gave us some info about them. They even brought us to Saturna Island for lunch where we saw the community otters! This was an almost 8 hour trip, and I appreciate the experience they gave us. Will not forget it!

Booking online was quick and easy. Upon arrival we were all safely fitted with life jackets. We had Andy take us out to scatter my moms ashes on a beautiful sunny evening. Before we departed Andy shared his own personal experiences with losing a loved one and overcoming health issues. This touched each and every one of us in a way no words can explain. He was so patient and caring and let us take our time. Thank you for letting us say our final goodbye on the most peaceful boat ride. I would highly recommend White Rock Sea Tours.
