Quick and reasonably priced! The food was served hot, straight out of the kitchen. The chive pockets were huge, tasty fillings on in the inside (chive, vermicelli and scrambled egg). The dumplings I got were steamed and the fillings consisted of pork, shrimp and green onion/chive. Make sure you pick up the dumpling and chive pocket condiments (black vinegar and chilli oil). It’s a very filling and hearty meal!

My husband and I ordered the Chinese pancake, the tofu dish and a bowl of wonton. The bowl of wonton that we got was completely raw. Being pregnant... It was very concerning to have raw wonton. After letting the cashier know, the kitchen simply reheated the bowl that I had instead of giving me a new one. It still had the half wonton that I bit into! Very disappointed because it's rare to find authentic Tianjin food.

Bought the beef noodle soup and beef pancakes, in my opinion, the noodles were more expensive than it should have been. Overall tastes pretty good.

It looks like Xiang de Zhao and Tianjin Fine Foods are one in the same now? Tianjin is still the same as ever.The congee you get in combos is quite bland (could really use some salt or like soy sauce) but the buns and food items are bomb! I think the extra $ for the pan fried buns are worth it, I personally love the crispiness and the fragrant aroma.Skip the congee where possible (which means any of their combos) and get any of their fried or steamed foods! All worth it!

I've been going here for years, stopped by during the pandemic when I could. I LOVE the fried pork dumplings. All the guys in the office jump in when I say I'm doing a takeout run (the record is ordering over 200 dumplings at once)! They take a little longer than some of the other places in the food court, but I'm happy to wait. You can buy them frozen in bulk too!

By far the best place in Canada to get your Xiao long baos. And all the leek pies. I drive from montreal just to have their food. Best hole in the wall resto.

I buy frozen dumpling occasionally from this booth. I recently bought the cabbage pork dumpling, when I opened the bag at home, I can smell the deep fried oil all around the frozen dumplings, I guess the poor ventilation in that tiny kitchen doesn’t matter as it shouldn’t affect the taste. The cooked dumpling itself is a little on the salty side, but I like the proportion of the ingredients and not much msg used, price is reasonable too

Some tasty dumplings that were thoroughly enjoyed by the family.The dumpling skin had a nice chew to it, but some parts were too chewy. However, with that being said, one of my main factors on delicious food is if the kids can just eat them all! And they loved it, which is a great sign!If the kids approve, I would definitely come back again! Especially good place, always eat their things here, there are seven kinds of Buns, dumplings have three, each is so delicious, impeccable! Other snacks and various kinds of noodles are also quite good, thank you, I will always eat this food!

The hefty portion of dumplings really fill my urge for good hot food today! I’ve worked in Tianjin for quite a long period of time, and the food in this shop really reminds me of the happy days in the cold winter in TJ. The wrapping of the dumplings are rather thick, which is meant to be like having Ravioli for dinner. This is local Tianjin style as they don’t usually have rice or noodles but just one big bowl of dumplings for a meal. An average TJ man will easily eat 30 pcs a meal but for me I can’t finish one order of 16. My picky daughter also approves the taste :)) Do try their pan fried beef cakes too. Considering all made on order, 7 minute is worth the wait.P.S. pls ignore the sushi which is from the same food court ;)
