Absolutely delicious. I wasn't even hungry, just wanted to take grandma somewhere in the west end that was halal. The food was so good i couldn't help but eat more than there was room for lol. And they made grandma feel so special that she is already asking when we can come back. Thank you so much for the delicious food and great atmosphere!!!!

I will say right away that I ate better shawarma before. I really liked this one as well. There are tables inside. You can dine in or take out. The portions are huge, and decently priced. Shawarma tasted authentic Syrian style. I will definitely come back.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I’m not sure if it was just an off night.. but this place was so unsanitary. The chicken did not taste fresh at all, it was cut off the rotisserie and left on the pedestal to sit in its grease until it was put on the flat top that was very dirty. The garlic potatoes were extremely greasy and mushy. The kitchen floor was covered in dropped food that looked like it had been there all day. Tables had plates and scraps on them for what looked like more than an hour. Toilet was clogged. The shawarma platter I had was very mediocre, I honestly couldn’t finish it only because of the thought of it all being so old. The sauce they put on top of the chicken was the only thing i enjoyed about this place. I don’t like to leave reviews like this but I am concerned that this establishment wouldn’t pass a food safety inspection.

First plate my sons, they happily exchange his carbs for salad and vine leaf , mountainous servings, $18 per plate. Tip option, ALWAYS TIP, flavourful JUST TASTY AND service SO PHENOMENAL. They are welcoming, generous, professional, clean, pleasant, priced superbly. GO and share this spot!

Such an exceptional restaurant. This is what a good shoarma place is like. This is life! In Edmonton of all places. Hilarious. This great young guy from Syria was the best. And this pretty Lebanese women too. Perfect for if you’re hungry for just done at the gym or both like in my case lol.

I'm pretty sure that Donair and Shawarma House is the best donair shop in the west end. Portions are crazy generous, the food tastes great, cooked fresh and incredible service. I really enjoyed chatting with the guys as they prepared my food, learned more about their roots in Syria and how they prepared their food back home. The guys were so accommodating when I asked for my donair to be wrapped in sajj, it's a game changer, so much better than pita. They jammed it with nothing but perfectly cooked donair meat and about half a litre of garlic sauce and left the veggies on the side. Consuming this masterpiece of a donair felt criminal, like I had rolled up the Mona Lisa in sajj, drenched it in garlic sauce and ate it. The chicken shawarma platter was equally epic, thankfully my wife is a light eater and I was able to claim the leftovers for my lunch the following day. Literally no complaints about Donair and Shawarma House, they are legit and I highly recommend eating donairs here as opposed to Prairie Oyster donair shop across Stony plain road that burns donair meat.

Holy smokes, this was so so very good. The portions are beyond your expectations. The food was to Flavour town. Best place to eat,we are from out of town and we love Shawarma. Also gave free soft drinks for being first time customers and full size sample of baklava. Very much thankyou from appreciative customers.
