Definitely one of the best pizza places in London. The variety of toppings on offer have quirky names, but exceptional taste. The pizzas have large portions and we couldn't divide a medium one amongst the two of us. The pizzas come in two bases NY style thin base and Chicago style thick base, hence the name of the place. We experimented with both and couldn't choose one against the other. The day we went we also had offers on margaritas, so why have one when you can have two of them.

Tried the Detroit style eggplant parm pizza! Was a little apprehensive about eggplant pizza but it was delicious. It was cooked well. So decadent & thick but soft and perfect! Also heated up nicely the next day too.

EDIT - I'd like to update my review, this pizza is incredibly good and they have landed on some good consistent product. My last few visits the service has been very good, so it is only fair I update my post here. I hope they continue to do well and make good pizza.EDIT 2 - last few times I've been here service and pizza have been incredible. Great work guys!----I REALLY want to like this place, and the lost marks are for the service. I sincerely hope that management reads this and can address these things. I would like to highlight that their product is very good, albeit on the salty side, as mentioned in some other reviews.I have been to this place, dine-in and take out over 20 times at least. On multiple occasions I have had really poor customer experiences and there really seems to be a lack of professionalism and care. For the price point of the pizzas, I would expect that the customer is treated better.Case 1:Last night I dined in and the dishwasher was broken. Which meant (somehow) that NO water was available for any of the customers. I arrived very thirsty and really just wanted water but I was forced to buy ginger ale to fix that issue. Then the waiter had the AUDACITY to charge us for the drinks that really we did not want. The pizza was great, but this left a bad taste in my mouth. Why does the customer have to pay for things that are broken at the restaurant? Why can't someone do a bottled water run to take care of the customers? Why can't anyone hand wash a couple of glasses? The customer should not have to be asking these questions.Case 2:When we order takeout we are given estimates for pizza timing. We always arrive on time, but when we DO arrive, it is almost never ready. On one occasion I waited an hour for my pizza (AFTER arriving on time). Not only was I waiting an hour, but I had an Uber that I had waiting for me, which I ordered AFTER I was assured that the pizza would be only another 5 minutes. Once again, the customer was left holding the bag in this situation.Case 3:On multiple occasions we find that pizzas are under cooked - especially the Detroit style. It is really disappointing when you pay a large sum for a pizza and it arrives under cooked. I honestly feel that sometimes pizzas are pulled out of the oven sometimes to speed things up. At your price point it is not acceptable in my opinion.Please. Management. Help me like your restaurant more so I can eat pizza that I love.Thanks.

First time going to Through Thick and Thin and it certainly won’t be our last! The vibe was amazing, the dining room was “cozy” but not cramped. The music wasn’t too loud and there was more than enough entertainment. Our server was amazing at letting us know all about the menu and her personal recommendations. Plenty of options for many types of dietary restrictions. The pizza was amazing, we ordered the dough knots, the Los Lobos New York style & the Jalapeño Popper Detroit style pizza. We had leftovers after that were enjoyed the next day and did not disappoint. This isn’t for people who are looking for a $10 pizza. This is for people who enjoy high quality ingredients and different types of pizza that are looking for a great experience.Highly recommend!

Ordered the NY Style MargheritaIt was extremely floppy with no crisp to the crust. The fennel oil overpowered the basil which should be the star. I would call this more Neapolitan than NY. Wouldn't order again for the price.

Both the New York and Detroit style pizzas are delicious and have the perfect crust. You will enjoy it just as much as the rest of the pizza. The ratios of meat, cheese, and garnishes are perfect as well. The taste is elevated but unpretentious. Just perfect. Our favourites are the Detroit pepperoni and New York mushroom.I completely understand there are reasons why things are the way they are for any small business, but the lack of customization options and the hours can be slightly limiting. It's not stopping me from making this my go-to pizza place in London though!

I am a PizzaExpert and did a video review on this pizza.First, an amateur move, I ordered two pizzas, both just cheese and in between slices (on the Detroit style) there was a piece of onion and mushroom that must have been stuck to the pizza cutter from a previous pizza. For this price, I’d think they’d be hiring good quality pizza makers. They are expensive pies. I don’t recommend the NY as it had several burnt spots and light sauce flavour. The Detroit style is much better (I conditionally recommend) but it’s not worth the money.Garlic dip hardly had any garlic flavour and not worth anything extra. Ordered a buffalo chicken detroit style pizza shortly after 5pm. Told that it was going to be 1:45 - 2:00 hours before it was ready. Was planning on being there for just before 645 and wait to ensure the pizza was hot. I got a call 30 minutes earlier telling me that it was done so by the time I got there and got the pizza home it was cold. The flavours on the pizza did not go well together, was salty and the pizza was hard and hurt my mouth. Perhaps I should have tried a different pizza, but thought I would try something out of the ordinary. Definitely not worth the price. I ate one piece and couldn't eat any more. A phone call before the pizza was done definitely would have been appreciated.
