Evolution Concepts in Hair & Spa

Looking for a hair stylist who is creative? How about a scalp massage? Then Evolution Concepts is the place for you. Upon entering you are a greeted by your first name and with a friendly smile. Often they take your coat and hang it up for you. Sometimes, if time permits one of the attendees will shampoo your hair and provide you with a fabulous scalp massage. Sitting in the chair, the hairstylist, my personal favourite Aaron, will ask what you are looking for and then work his magic. All for a reasonable price! He even does cool hair tattoos!

Only by chance I found this facility as everywhere I called were booked solid and unfortunately I had a funeral to attend the next day being yeasterday, July 28th. The reeption was so very empathetic to my cause and need and after consultation with her associates she advised me if I could come back by three that afternoon they could get me in because though I am a 66 year old man I only have a small head. LOL!!! At 2:45 PM I was back at their shop on Westmount Ave in Kitchener and a young lady by the name of Alyisa who was so kind and professional it really made me feel so good about how wonderful it is to be alive and experience all the wonderful benefits of being in the presence of other people that have that gift of putting others first and to be able to listen to another human being with empathy and a sincere demeanor in truly conveying her positive observations. I was so impressed by her and the entire staff! I have another appointment for next week! Lol! Oh yes, I got a great haircut as well! I almost forgot. Though my head was small I still had to pay full price! LOL! Thank youAlysia and staff!!! keep up the great service to this community we all share!!

It was my first visit with them and actually my first coloring ever, i like the way allyssa treated me she was wonderful and kind even though i am the most boring customer ever.. she helped me alot for coming out of my shell.. i will highly suggest ANYBODY TO go for her. The whole team is nice there.

Although the place and people impressed us when we arrived, looking back they made my wedding less-than-perfect.First of all, and I already messaged them about (awaiting an answer), my mom paid $40 for a hairstyle that lasted 1.5 hours on my wedding day. Luckily she was able to re-do her hair before the ceremony.Secondly the hairstyle I got was quick, thrown up, and nothing like the picture I showed them. Although my hair was lovely, it wasn't what I'd asked for. Once it was up, however, the clock was ticking and I had to accept it and get back to the wedding venu.The hairstyle that I did for my sister was much more on-par, minus a few twists, with what I'd been looking for (see second picture). If I could do my sister's hair so nicely, I would have expected even better from professionals.

Pathetic salon. Don’t recommend anyone to go there. Barbers are not so trained. The person who did hair cut hit me with scissors which close to my eye. They use dirty towel to clean you and same towel they use to clean mirror and they charged 3$ extra for this called PPE. Even they don’t apologise what they did they in fact show attitude to customers. Beware from looters!!

I’ve been going here for over 4 years. It’s a lovely salon with a fun atmosphere. The people who work there have a great comaraderie. It’s quite laid back and the hairdressers that do my hair always do a fantastic job. Shout out to Sabrina and Esella. I have a fairly conventional haircut right now, but once in awhile I do something a little out of the ordinary. Below you can see some of Sabrina’s work.

The lady I had said the colour was gonna be $250, and the cut $75, and then somehow it was another hundred dollars? Didn’t communicate anything else with me. I looked at her hair supply pouch and it was extremely dirty… very gross; and she smelled like cigarettes profusely. She was very rough with my hair such as yanking it, combing from the top to bottom, etc. She was very bossy to other employees, which was uncomfortable at times. She wanted to curl it and I said I rather just have the blown out look from the dryer. But she insisted that fine let me straighten it at least. Which fine but then she curled some parts which I didn’t even want. I ended up with more split ends and spent hours going over my hair after my appt. to make it cleaner.

So happy with my first visit to this salon. Very warm welcome. All the stylists made the vibe feel super relaxed and welcoming. Alysia was my stylist and she was wonderful! She asked me all the right questions to ensure my satisfaction. She took the time and it was really appreciated. Highly recommended. The country music was such a bonus!

My husband and I needed trims while visiting the area and they got us in same day. We are both very pleased with our cuts and the friendly, pleasant service. Shout out to my stylist Alysia. Thanks again!

@Nakul Grover this is a reply to the bad review I was there and none of thishappened. Your stylist triedhard to please you and thiswas a clear attempt to geta free haircut. A review ofyour previous posts to otherestablishments also showyour failed attempts to workthe system. Please spare usyour nonsense.I feel bad for all the businesses you went out to destroy bcus you don’t know how hard it is for these businesses to keep afloat especially after the pandemic.
