Eddies Sharpening

Always great service and they are pretty quick :) I love using Eddie's for all my sharpening and maintenance needs :)

We were lucky enough to find Eddie's sharpening on Google over the weekend. He runs his business out of his garage, so it's easy to miss driving by as it is a residential street. We had 3 knives sharpened for a more than reasonable price and were super pleased with the prompt service! Eddie and his wife are very friendly and it was nice to be able to support a local, small business!

Great service and great prices. Fixed a large chip in my straight razor and brought back the edge. Will go back for all sharpening needs.

What a hidden gem - places like this are amazing! Floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall tools and parts, and a guy who's got knowledge and experience in spades. Eddie was super helpful and sent me on my way with a fixed pet clipper and all the info I needed to keep it running smoothly. Planning to go back with some of my dull kitchen knives, and anytime I need parts for my Wahl clipper. Highly recommend.

Brilliant! If it has to do with cutting hair or really anything with an edge; Eddies is the place to go. A warren of a shop in one end of his garage he has an incredible selection of bits and bobs. He turned my clapped out Wahl clippers into a Maserati.

Eddie is the best!! I always go to him with my dog grooming tools, hes very friendly and always does a fantastic job. Highly recommended.

After an unsuccessful attempt at grooming my Poodle mix, I brought my old Wahl animal clippers to Eddie's shop as a last ditch effort before purchasing new ones. Wow what a difference! They cut through my dog's curly hair so easily and effortlessly. I'll know where to take them when they need sharpening again! Thanks for the great service!

Fast, friendly service. I paid $8 for small shears, $14 for large shears and $12 for pinking shears. The sharpening was finished in one day. Great results! You can pay with debit/credit.

Visiting Winnipeg and not being able to take double edge razor blades on the plane I decided to see if I could get them locally. Eddie's is a tiny little shop tucked away in a garage behind the house at 202 Wallasey St. The selection seems good (razor blades, clippers, shaving creams and sharpening services) but it isn't the greatest shopping experience. With only one person in the shop it's already crowded. Not much can be done about that. I left with a 5 pack of Derby blades for $2.50. Good price. Good, interesting experience overall. I'm leaving this review largely because there are few places to buy double edge razor blades and even fewer places to find good name brand ones. It would be great for Eddie's to see more business and remain open. Support local shops like this before they disappear and we're left only with Amazon!
