I hired Jon, to correct the train wreck a previous contractor caused. Jon exceeded most of our expectations. He was honest, thorough, hard working and took our job personally. Work was quality, and so were his subs and helpers. It was nice to see a father and son working next to each other, says a lot about the families character. Ingram reno corrected the previous deficiencies(some even the inspector missed), there were no surprises and costs were clearly written out. And changes were timely written up and costs agreed to by both parties.Highly recommend, and would contact them in the future for additional work as required.

When i thought of doing the Legal Basement Suite . I was worried how to find a good person/contractor to do my basement. In Ontario 2 relatives of mine lost money to contractors in Brampton and Markham . They took the Advance sign the papers never show up again so i was worried because i work out of city not living in house. So it was hard decision for me to choose and trust someone when you are 500 KM away from home . But when i met John i feel comfortable, easy going person to deal with . I am really happy with his work and he finished project Ahead of time 1 month early. I will recommend him if you want easy headache free work for your project. Jon runs a very solid and reliable renovation service. I have used him a few times in a secondary suite project and will continue to do so because of his reliability, professionalism and ability to justify the cost of an estimate/job to the point that I understand the value he is adding as well as the piece of mind knowing that it will be done right. He also made himself available for advice on other DIY jobs I was undertaking myself and share lots of pro tips which made me more confident taking on these projects myself. Jon is one of those skilled craftsmen who love their work and it shows in the finished product. We added a side entrance to our basement in our new home and when Jon and his team were finished, it was like the door was always there. Moreover the commitment of time was honoured. He said one week and it was complete in one week. The finishing that included setting up the outer wall, drywall repairs, electrical work and repainting the inner walls was upto mark and fabulously done. Jon is professional, knowledgeable and very personable. To date he has done 2 different renovations for us. The first was the complete development of a legal secondary suite including an outdoor staircase and completely separating the suite from the main house. From the first time we met him we felt we could trust him with the development of my basement into a secondary suite. The suite is beautiful and after over a year we have had no issues. The second renovation was opening a wall and finishing a staircase with flooring, paint etc. Again no complaints, looks and works great.
