Grace was lovely and did a fantastic job on my full head of blonde highlights. Highly recommend, but pack your patience as they are students and will take a longer time to finish a service. Bring yourself coffee and water etc as they do not offer anything with your service.

The whole family has come several times. Before that everything was fine. Once again I signed up for a haircut, to a certain master. When half an hour passed, after the appointed time, I asked when my master would be, I was told that she would not be there today, she had an exam. I was offered another master, to which I did not want at all. I just left. Very bad and wrong situation. How can you sign up for a master if you know that she has an exam and she cannot be accepted. At least they warned me not to wait there in vain.

I had a great experience at MC college. Molly is a student there and she was amazing. She was very friendly and helpful during my appointment. I didn’t really have an idea of what I wanted for my balayage, but she was very understanding of what I did not want done to my hair and had helped me come to a final decision that I loved. She talked me through the whole process so I always knew what was going on. I definitely recommend MC College!!

I’ve been here twice and had great experiences so far. I like how fair the prices are for the services. The students are very nice and they always follow the instructors guidance.Remember that these are students! Don’t expect them to be able to do complex procedures perfectly.I prefer going here for simpler services like a trim, some layers, and an all over colour.They have nice add on services like a scalp massage or hair gloss for very cheap. It’s a good way to treat yourself on a budget :)

Don’t waste ur time and money here..I had a haircut and color appointment in MC College, Calgary on 27th march. I had mentioned in the online appointment the I want a blue balayage. A day before i got a call from them with the questions about my hair type and etc. I had initially took an appointment for 11 am but on the call she told me to come early at 10am.. i said ok.. on d day of appointment i was on time and they said they couldn’t find my appointment . Then they said we cannot do the color becoz we do not have this color in stock.. I cudnt help it said ok. Then i said i hav also booked for haircut. Then they appointed a total novice student. Today i did my hair color from somewhere else, they straightened my hair and now i see the haircut that mc college did. A real bad experience there. The lady in the reception was totally not interested in providing any service ..

We've had three appointments booked here in the last month and all three times they called exactly an hour before, when we were just leaving, and cancelled on us. Twice it was for a perm but once just a simple haircut. I understand there may not be enough people but three times in a row?

shout out to Sarah. She is a student at MC college. She did my balayage and it is safe to say that it exceeded past any expectations. Not only was she very friendly and professional, but her talent really shows in her work. The instructors which helped her definitely knew what they were doing. Throughout my session the instructors made sure that every client on a seat were handled properly. The whole environment of the place just felt like a big family. I definitely recommend this place. If you know what you want, you'll definitely get more!

Awful experience. The people are all friendly so no fault there. I understand these are students so it is what it is. However I wouldn’t come back here or recommend it to anyone. Red Deer MC is really good.I got cycled through 3 different people for one service (I get it, you gotta work with what you have), only problem is the service itself was big time lacking. Then the last lady I got was treated not well because I was her client (I actually wasn’t, the lady I had originally was, but she had to leave) so the lady who took over after the instructor had taken over did a really good job trying to figure out where we were at in the process.I have also never seen people who struggle to cut nails. I had 3 people file my nails and they still aren’t accurate… which is kinda funny. They hardly cleaned under them either.

Every time I go in I’m greeted by friendly faces who always welcome clients in so nicely, all the student’s support each other and their work. Best of all, Sarah-Grace has done my hair multiple times and I always leave absolutely in awe of the results. She takes the time to analyze my hair concerns, what cut and colour will look best on me, and always makes sure I’m leaving happy with my service. She’s absolutely incredible!

Had a great experience getting cut and color/ color correction done on my hair. Stephany was professional and pleasant, felt like a different person when it was done.
