YVR Medical Clinic

Covid tests naturally left everyone with a bad experience.YVR is one of the busiest airports in CANADA. To assume that this small clinic could be %100 accommodating during the Covid influx; is not realistic expectation.I cant even imagine the amount of issues Covid created for this small clinic. Covid brought on a lot of unpleasant moments, having those unpleasant moments fall on this clinic is simply not fair.I had a great experience! Receptionist was just as fantastic as the Doctors.

When trying to get a covid test, this place wasted my time. I tried to book ahead by phone but no one answered. The machine didn't even give me the option to do anything, it just spat a message and ended the call.I go there in person and they tell me to book by phone. Ironic. After I explain the situation, they tell me they can't do anything and to try the phone again, before telling me to leave quite rudley.Terrible service fitting for a bad clinic, avoid this place!

Makes sense why they have such a bad rating — incredibly rude on the phone and not approachable in person.Where is the patient care? Where is the respect?They need to re-train their staff on how to create a comfortable environment and showing decency to those come in.Would give 0 stars if possible.

Booked online on a Saturday, got a 500 error. However checked my email and got a receipt so I figured was booked. I called Monday to confirm got an answer within 2 rings. Had a booking number and time/date set. Arrived at yvr at 9am 10 min wait to checkin. 15 min wait to get test done. Within 20 minutes had negative test in my hands and ran to check in counter to get on my flight. I was quite nervous relying on a test a couple of hours before my flight at airport but all worked out, was quick and easy.

We did the travel covid test with them. And we are forever grateful for the friendly team, especially the guy that stayed after hours on the 12th of September 2020 to send out the test results. There was also no wait time when we got there for our appointment. Thank you :)

When trying to book an appointment over the phone, their phone system says please book an appointment by phone" before ending the call. Went to the location physically to ask about this

The place is hard to find. Here are the instructions:Drive down to the visiting parkade. Take the exit (follow the stairs) that goes into the airport. Once you enter the airport it’s on your left next to the pharmacy.I know that there are bad reviews here. But, I had no issue with the service. They are very organised and got my results the next day.

I had a layover at YVR on April 16th and ended up too ill to fly. I was sent to the clinic by a gate agent.I am a patient with a very rare disorder which leaves me fearful of new doctors and ER situations where I generally find little to no knowledge of my needs which could lead to a life threatening situation very quickly. There is a lot of work being done to raise awareness but doctors generally are not thoroughly educated in this regard because the likelihood of them encountering someone like me is so slim.I was seen very quickly by a doctor who not only knew what my condition was but understood the requirements to get me back in good shape. Unfortunately this is only a clinic and I did require hospital care so I was transported to hospital.I received the best best care possible. I was unaccompanied and what could have been a life threatening situation was quickly averted.I highly recommend going to this clinic if you have any health issue that needs addressing while traveling through YVR.I hope to find this doctor someday to properly thank her.

Just had the worst experience ever - walk in to get a covid test. No one in front of me. Was turned away by the receptionist in the most dismissive way possible. She told me to go to the municipal test site. The clinic says they encourage calling ahead but no one answers the phone.

I tried setting up an appointment over the phone (as they wanted) and was told by their answering machine to book an appointment over the phone... What?I go in person to get help with this and they rudeley tell me I shouldn't have come and to book it over the phone. I then call the number right in front of them, and the machine says to book an appointment by phone. They then tell me to leave.Bad service, a waste of several hours, and a massive headache at the end. Avoid this place like the plague you can't get treated for because you can't book an appointment.
