Beautiful museum with lots of informative sections specially the formation of Quebec. Suitable for children as well since it’s very interactive. Must visit place if you are in Quebec.

Went here while we were touring around Quebec City, was really enlightening into the culture and background of the area. They didn't only focus on the area though, there were multiple exhibits which were super interactive and entertaining to learn more about. My personal favorite was the movement exhibit which showed the powers of motion capture with free expression of dance and movement. The line wasn't too bad, the ticket machines were having issues so we ended up having to go to purchase them at the desk instead. As an English speaker with very limited French, I can confirm that the staff here is well versed in both dialects for any questions you may have. Overall a really enjoyable place for a trip during the day if you're interested in history and creative exhibitions.

Very cool exhibits. We went because it said there were some kid friendly things to do, which there were. The restaurant was a tad pricy and they took a while to serve. I would bring my own lunch and eat in the basement level. Cost per adult was about $24, kids under 6 are free.

A great museum that has lots of different exhibits. I like that it's not all one category. Some exhibits are interactive and great for kids. Others focus on art or history in a more traditional way. It was fun and a good place to visit for all ages.

Based on my visit to the Ottawa Location, I had very high expectations! Unfortunately the exhibits are very average and shows and other perks were exclusively tailored to French speaking population, so as an English speaking visitor it didn’t really meet my expectations.

I loved the exhibits, there was lots of science and history, I'm not sure where some of the other reviews are coming from. I think some are from thinly veiled bigots. The LGBTQ+ exhibit was beautifully done, going through the science of gender/sex/etc, the long history of pride and LGBTQ+ people, and sharing touching individual stories. The art and science in the climate change was also so interesting to look at, especially some of the art, it was jaw dropping. My favourite part was the re-imagining of earth-friendly cities and the movie on how capitalism has affected our society. It was all done in a child appropriate way as well, I'd rather my children learn about these topics in an environment like this where things are well explained and scientific.
