One of my favorite stores. Staff is always helpful.

Today I went there and 4 adjacent cash registers were open. It was crowded and social distance was impossible to maintain since we were two customers packing our groceries at the same cash plus the customers from the next cash register packing their bags too. We were almost rubbing our shoulders... All this while the west cash registers were closed. I mentioned my concern to the cashier and she says, je ne peux rien faire, c'est la compagnie qui décide... The costumer in front of me tells me... That is why we wear masks... The supervisor later told me again, the company decided to let adjacent cash registers to be open at the same time... It's been busier lately and the back log was long and we are wearing masks... I just said, if you cannot do anything, at least let Management know there are customers complaining... Can you imagine how that would be during the holidays?... Yes, we are wearing masks, but most people don't know how to wear them properly, plus, you have more registers and with a little effort you could open registers not adjacent to each other; that is how a company takes care of the safety of its customers and employees

Wow. Unbeatable prices!! Hands down the best grocery store ! While all the other grocer's are raising their prices, Maxi knows how to keep its customers coming back over and over! I definitely will be only shopping here for my food items!!

Well... I mostly have positive reviews, but I just don't get some of the very strange ways they stock their shelves. Quite rare to find the 100% natural sour cream (no gelatin or any other corn starch, guar gum, carrageenan, carob bean gum, sodium citrate, sodium phosphate). Why don't they order it?Or Kefir - they do, but they order a lot of all those flavor added ones, while the simple one just flies from the shelves.Not to mention that there is no more Quarck to be found?I like shopping at Metro, but I hate it when I need to go to other places to get some stuff I would have expected to find it here.

I love that maxi has everything you need. And now the organic section has an amazing selection of vegan products! Vegan cakes, vegan ice cream, dairyfree cheeses and yogourt mock meats you name it! They also added a variety of mushrooms and bok choy into their produce. They also sell large quantities of pet food which is great. They have all the plant based grocery version (like vegan mayo, plant milks etc.) so no hassles. They are often out of firm tofu though - needed to mention.

Good service .. Clean store ... Good price match other store. Why go anywhere else
