Terrible experience claimed they could fix my jeans looks nothing like the original button. The woman who works here was also extremely rude.

Replaced the zipper in 10 minutes for my daughter's coat. Great and fast service.

I've had a few minor alterations and repairs completed here and they've all been done very well. The lady there has really good suggestions on how to repair and have clothes look nice. Will be going back!

Based on the service I received, a good number of the 1 star reviews are unwarranted. I took a pair of dress pants in on Thursday afternoon to get hemmed and the seamstress was polite and understood exactly what I needed. I picked them up on the agreed pick up day and they were done perfectly. Absolutely nothing wrong with the customer service.

Rude service from the woman work. Also, as I stood in line waiting for my turn, I saw the woman be extremely rude and short with a customer.

Good work on a couple trousers that I took there for mending. The Russian lady can be abrupt and somewhat rude, but never mind her, the work and price are decent. Think Seinfeld and the Soup Stalin!

Stitch City's contact form does not work so it seems I need to report here, which is more public. The woman not only was rude, she arbitrarily refused to fix my garment. She lied about the time and claimed I was too late when I was there an hour and a half before closing.

I don't think the reviews saying the tailor is rude are warrented.... She is always friendly when I have gone and the more often you go there, the more you get to know her. She also makes great face masks!

Needed faux trim to be re-attached to a removable piece on a hood (2 straight lines) and offered to pay extra to have it done the same day. The tailor agreed and I returned a few hours later to pick up a disaster. I could have done a better job hand sewing it! It wasn't laying flat, lines of stitches were crooked...I couldn't believe they were returning it to me in that condition. She said she could have done a better job if she had more time which may have been true, but why agree to do a rush job if you're not confident you can do the repair within the time agreed. I paid (why?!) and left. Ended up ripping out all the stitching and bringing it to a different tailor who was able to repair it while I waited. I'll never go back or recommend this place.

After reading all the negative reviews for this business, I felt obliged to impart my experience. I don’t go to Stitch City to have a friendly chat. Rather, I go for the superior work this seamstress does. Remember, she was not born here and is probably apprehensive and uncertain about her English, as well as the social mores of this country. Give her a break.
