Very disappointed in the service I received from Annie the owner of montebello jewelry. I had brought in my diamond stud earring to her to have one made to MATCH exactly. Which she said she could do 100%. Thinking she would give me a good deal as she’s my nanas long time “friend” but boy was I wrong. After having to have it send back twice due to it being completely different from the earring I had brought in to have matched I was guilted into taking it as is cause she couldn’t send it back without 1000$ more cash. The diamond isn’t the same size and it’s in a poorly made setting with prongs being of different sizes and a terrible quality diamond. In no way shape or form would this earring match as a set with the one earring I had left. Instead of telling me that she wasn’t able to match the earring like a good friend would do, she ripped my nana and I off by charging me 700$ (I have the reciept) for ONE SINGLE EARRING. Does that sound like a good deal to you ? No it doesn’t. I phoned and asked her to buy it back as I had to buy a new set just to match the one I had perfectly to which she replied no and that she could MAYBE give me a deal on putting screw backs on. Sorely disappointed and my nana is too. Not good business whatsoever.

So thankful I found this place! I have brought a few different items of jewelry in to Montebello to have them restored or fixed and their work has just been impeccable! Annie is the best of the best! She knows her stuff and the service you will get is first class!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Do not trust Annie! Or anyone in this store in my opinion.I brought her a ring that she said she would sell for me. She made me leave it at the store and told me that I can trust her. She said that she would not sell it for less than $12,000 without my permission. She then called me 2 weeks later and said that she had sold it for $10,000. When I asked her to get it back she said it was too late and that the best she could do was make me a similar one. After arguing with her for half hour and having her hang up on me she finally said she would cut her losses and give me $11,000. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere but here. This lady even knows my mum and her best friend that’s why I trusted her. If she will do it to me she will do it to you.Thanks , Kyle

I want to thank Anniy. She guided me through the whole process of custom jewelry, she helped me select the most beautiful gem stone and with a keen eye set it in the ring of my dreams. It represents the love of my life my wife and this ring will be in my family for generations to come. If you are an expert or novice Montebello staff and service can not be beat. In the end this ring cost less than I thought it would

I’ve known Annie for over 30 years. She doesn’t have a bad bone in her! The sweetest heart ever with kind, courteous service and fair pricing. There’s tons of obvious falsehoods in these negative reviews but take it from someone who’s been a customer for over 30 years, not some random person off the street who just wants to screw over another business owner for a discount. People like to bully others and it clearly shows in these negative reviews. If you want high quality jewellery without having to pay the high profits of in mall jewellers give Montebello Jewellers a try, located across from the mall next to Sushi Mori.

This store and the owner Annie Vanayan moved from the Willowbrook mall to another location yet, she still has the same unprofessional behaviour, service and overpriced fake jewellery.Reading other reviews, exposing the negative side of this business and its owner made it clear she is not trustworthy. After multiple experiences here, I can agree with them. Please do your research before spending your money.Recently I received this pair of “Diamond” hoops very tarnished and missing a “diamond”. Turns out they’ are Cubic Zirconia from Kiera. I also received silver hanging earrings with hearts that are covered in a disgusting grime clearly indicating they do not clean their products if/after people try them on.Besides the disappointing jewellery, I can also say the packing is subpar as the box lid and pillow inside are both dirty.Please be aware of fake diamonds, a deceitful owner and overall poor quality, overpriced jewellery.

Annie is the best ! She was a Godsend when I found her last year, and she is the only jeweller I will deal with now!She goes above and beyond every single time. Last winter she made custom alexandrite rings for my husband and I, we couldn’t be happier! She is an expert jeweller and is thoughtful and caring through every transaction.This week we brought in my husbands tungsten wedding band after the sapphire fell out, and the retailer we bought it from would not cover the loss. Not only did Annie replace the sapphire, but she improved the ring with a larger stone, and a custom cut gem. Go see Annie, you will not be disappointed!

I was referred to Annie by a few of my friends and I have to say they were right, she is one of the most genuine and sweetest people I have met and goes above and beyond for her customers. Her work is stellar and her prices cannot be beat.I am a customer for life.

Well where does one start, My 1st visit to Montebello was to fix a sentimental chain to me a 50 ish(new 40) age male & Annie was Awesome 1st time meet Profesional polite loves to meet people, 2nd time was a broken clasp again just a personable soul, then had a small mess months later 4=5 tangled necklaces. I needed help Lol she came through very timely and want to charge me nothing , this showed so much more to me on her character as she charged me nothing I forced some Good Karma back with a Starbucks Gift card.Annie don't ever change & I'll be in to buy your product and send referrals.Happy Customer
