Fun, friendly staff and lots of activities. Went here with a friend who owns a seasonal lot we were able to chill out by lake Erie, take hikes through the nearby forest. The bathroom facilities were Sub-par but not terrible. Lots were all of decent size. They also had a couple events the few times I went like live music, a halloween trail.

Family and I come every Thanksgiving weekend and set up on a prime spot. It's a great park on Lake Erie with a beach. Adjoining the property is Yellow Creek and trails and woodland, it's always an adventure for my kids and me!Probably my favourite RV camp ground in South Western Ontario.

Terrible campground run by terrible people, you're packed in with other campers like sardines, no space between the sites. We booked two cabins for three days, and then weeks later when we drove over an hour just to pay for them, we were told the cabins had accidentally been double-booked and that we had to take campsites. We were alright with this, as long as the campsites could be next to each other, and they told us that would be the case. We arrived to find our campsites were not next to each other, but diagonally apart. At every turn we have been treated badly, like our problems are an inconvenience, by staff. We were not allowed to rent any recreational vehicles because they claimed it was raining, when the rain had been just barely spitting for hours. The beach has no sand, only small pebbles, and is broken up into sections by steel girders. You will not have fun at campers cove. You will be treated badly at campers cove. As soon as they have your money they will give you so much misinformation it's ridiculous, and then only tell you when it's too late to do anything about it.Alongside a creep in a white security truck driving by as slow as possible with his headlights on, every 5 minutes, making it impossible to enjoy ourselves in the tiny little cramped area we had.Had a terrible time, will never come here again, and if you want to have fun you'd be better off just going into the middle of a forest somewhere.

We drove 6hrs to reach this park. Couldn't be happier we did. Met a couple from Port Dover and was asked why we ventured so far. Told them it was about seeing variety Ontario has to offer. This is a well kept, well run park. Staff are efficient at cleaning sites. Beware of the Black Walnuts though, you'll need to clean your rig. Beautiful park and area.

15 years several times a year and Never come here if you dont wanna be locked to your site at 11pm. No walk on the beach for moonlight romantic walk. Not allowed at campers cove. 15 years here had nothing but amazing stories of the big lake erie cat fish at night. My son lives for the lights to go out and go fishing but this year it's a problem. No problem we're here to adhere to the rules. But after we were told not beach at night. They proceeded to harass us at our site every 15 mins at 12am 1215am 1245am 1 am until we said we're adults get lost were not leaving the site. And will never come again.Come.

This was a great place to stay. The bathrooms were SUPER clean, probably the best I've seen compared to any campground!! A nice walk to the beach right on Lake Erie. We had a nice quiet site at the very end that was nice and big. We'd stay here again!!

Really nice little park. Steps (about one flight of stairs) down to Lake Erie. Everyone was very nice.

A mix of permanent and overnight sites in a park that is well maintained and clean. Gravel roads and grass/dirt sites can make it a little dusty at times, but the speed limit in the park keeps that to a minimum. With beach access to Lake Erie there is enjoyable swimming, fishing and boating activities a short walk or bike ride from the numerous sites. Spots are roomy and equipped with a fire pit and picnic table. Utilities worked as they should and were conveniently located. Lots of activities for kids and there is a convenience store at the office. Will visit this park again in the future.

I visited family who have a seasonal trailer site here on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It was my first experience at this campground. I was very impressed with the ambience of the park and the amenities they have. The showers are amazing! The beach was awesome. The other campers were very friendly and relaxed. We wandered over to the overnight camping area and the sites are very roomy.I was greeted in a warm friendly way that makes a person want to come back.I understand now the difference between family owned and corporate owned.I also understand why there are waiting lists to come here for seasonal sites and why people in overnight areas book for the next year before they leave.Beautiful experience overall.
