This church, now called St. Jax is also home to 2 AA groups that meet on Wednesday and Friday at noon. It's also home to a women's aid center and offers regular free concerts of various types of music. They publish a schedule twice yearly. Very helpful pastor and small staff.

An organization with a noble quest of helping the vulnerable around the world.

Went to the organization in person to inquire on volunteering opportunities with refugees, but I was greeted by a man named Paul in a very disrespectful manner. I asked about their mission, and the man instantly snapped and told me to check their website. While I was asking him a specific questions on the conditions to volunteer, he interrupted me saying to look at the website. He clearly didn't want to talk to me and then disrespectfully told me to leave the place. I don't understand how politely offering my time to volunteer with the organization ended up with his unwelcoming attitude. His attitude showed the opposite of the organization's helpful and welcoming mission.
