The park is closed these days as is the bridge but it’s still a spot to see. It’s beautiful there all year around.

Original place, original Curve Bridge, on iconic Alaska Highway! It is like pilgrimage to Mecca - you have to drive that Road at least once in your life time :)

Beautiful place to walk along the river. The embankments are pretty steep (at least where we have seen) so it's hard to get down to the river sometimes. We bring the dogs with us and they love to play in the water. The beach area is full of rocks so unless you bring chairs it's hard to find a place to sit

Quiet and peaceful night next to the river. Friendly camp host with big bundles of firewood.

So sad how his place has been abandoned by the Province. The bridge and campground are falling into disrepair ..... Campground closed indefinitely and bridge is pedestrian only. Still worth visiting for the rich history and beauty.

One of the oldest bridges in alaskan highway. its a 25 mins drive from fort saint john bc . Its a curved bridge made of wood. Theres a camping ground nearby with minimal facilities available.

We went to the curved Bridge expecting just another bridge and although I love Bridges I wasn't expecting much. The models of the Museum's all show the steel frame built Bridge with a wood deck, but the actual bridge is all 100% wood frame and it is a sight to see! The wood deck over the curved arch of the bridge is quite unique to see and drive over because I don't think I've ever been on such a bridge before. The wood truss in framing underneath is awesome, one of the few wood frames such structures you'll be able to see.The bypass is the original Highway, fairly well paved and only a few miles out of the way. It is a much better route than staying on the main freeway cost you almost more time and you get to see a really need Bridge highly recommended

Great campground and picnic tables. Area is well maintained. Curved wooden bridge has to be the coolest attraction.
