Gobles Grove is a great beach in Port Elgin and is preferred over the main beach as it is less crowded. There is Street parking but don’t wait to late afternoon! Bathroom was clean.

Great beach to swim or simply stretch out and tan. The beach is very clean with soft sand which extendable far out into the water which is very shallow for a good stretch. No weeds or rocks make it a great swimming experience.

I recently rented a wonderful cottage, just slightly off the beach - and what a wonderful experience.I have spent a lot of time on Lake Huron shores, and her sunsets are the best I have ever seen, and Gobles Grove beach did not dissappoint. The clear waters of Huron, and the clean beach was beautiful. We went into the town for supplies and it was easy to get around with great shopping options and amenities.I had the wonderful laid back feeling of being in a northern town. Thanks for the memories Port Elgin!I'll be back.

Always a beautiful place to visit but now sustaining significant damage due to wave action and high water levels. Parking lot is currently almost unusable. The boardwalk to the washrooms had been almost entirely ripped out. Beach continues to get narrower. Lack of ice on the lake has meant there is no relief from wave action during high winds.

I love this beach. Parking can get tricky but its 100% worth it. Clean water and great for the kids as it does not get deep forever.

The best beach in Port Elgin. It's smaller than the Main Beach, less crowded and more peaceful. It is shallow, water is crystal clear and is very safe for families with kids. Designated parking isn't there but everyone parks on the street.
