Exceptional pastry and sourdough bread in Bridgeland. Been here multiple times and each time the quality has been good. Some places like Manuel have their good and bad days.

This is Calgary’s best bakery! I was really glad when they open up in a more accessible area and a bigger space! You have to plan ahead and be there early! The line can get long and their best sellers might get sold out fast! We love their Speculoos croissant and sweet danish! Their Ferrero Choux was amazing too! I find their coffee prices a bit cheaper than the other cafes, so that’s a win! Only a handful of table and few chairs available inside. Good thing there is a beautiful park across where you can have a picnic and enjoy your hard earned Mari pastries!

Everything baked here is top quality. Bought their choux, croissant, almond croissant, roll cake, sour dough bread and sandwiches over the years. Their croissant is so airy and fluffy with a beautiful crunchy top. My kids love the choux with the crunchy top. Flavors are always noticable. When they say there's mango or pistachio in the choux, it tastes like mango or pistachio. Tried their monkey bread this time which is a pull apart cinnamon roll. Delightful. Always worth a trip to Mari!

Great place for a hangout. Love the vibe and amazing pastries. The roulette pastries are amazing, sandwiches are really tastey, amd everything is so fresh! And make sure to try their Ferrero rochoux !! Staff are really nice and the place is clean. The store is also in front of a park so you can definitely get some snacks and coffee and sit outside or stroll through the park. Parking spots are somewhat limited since there is only street parking.

Wonderful bakery with excellent roll cakes, choux, bread, and pastries. Everyone is so friendly. It's quite popular for good reason. It's beautiful inside and nice to sit for a bit. They also offer coffee and sandwiches but haven't tried those yet! It's not cheap but you pay for excellent quality and creativity. I love their choux and their savory croissants and danishes.

Mari Bakeshop's choux is definitely worth a try! Cutely decorated, when you bite into their choux (similar to a cream puff), you will be very pleased with the soft fluffy texture as well as the flavor (the ones that stood out are the match and passion fruit but they were all excellent). Before you know it, you'll have eaten 6 and wish you had bought more!We had some chocolate and matcha roll cake (very good flavor that is easy to appreciate and light airy cake) as well as their chocolate croissant and almond croissant (personally, I could have used more almond) which were very flaky and light as well.Will definitely be back to try more of their items!

It is a lovely bakery and this new location definitely serves them well (and a lot safer than East Village I would imagine.) The staff is very pleasant and they take pride in their products. As with anything in Calgary, the price point is on the higher end. Their sandwiches are good though the bread is quite hard. I know it’s preferred but it can really hurt the roof of one’s mouth while eating. ;)

Our favorite bakery of all time. They are even (dare I say) better than pastries I've had in France and Japan. You can just tell that they put so much into each item and everything is seriously so. Good. No words!
