Addendum to my previous post as the company as replied to my review:As I stated in my first review and as others have told me IOM will never be accountable for anything. It’s not “environmental” or “third party” …. They also sent out the warranty explanation which is a great excuse to avoid coming in to see the unit and to actually assess if it’s due to the builders fault or any other reason. It’s very easy to sit on the other side of the computer and send out warranty explanations where other builders will have someone sent to the unit and personally inspect it. It actually could be because these units were going up so fast that the work was also done quickly to hit the time lines. ITS OK TO TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY I.O.M.This is what good costumer service looks like, not pasting the same stuff to every costumer complaint.Very poorly finished unit. Not even two years old and many many defect. Things coming apart… when I tried to bring this up with customer service it was dismissed. I just wanted someone to come and look at my concerns so they could be addressed as emailing them didn’t seem to work. They refused to come. I have already had people reach out to me to ask about this developer as they were interested in IOM developments. I have been able to sway them not to buy their units. I do regret purchasing this “rush job”. It’s actually quite unacceptable but unfortunately no one is taking accountability. Avoid if you can. Numerous others in our complex have expressed the same concerns….. no one is willing to accept any responsibility on some very cheap finishing/products. Sure it looks nice to the eye but floors shouldn’t be creaking so much in the first two years, the grout shouldn’t be cracking in various spots of the house, carpet shouldn’t be coming apart, laminate shouldn’t be separating….. the roller door for the main bedroom is CRACKED right down the side…. There is also many mismatches for cupboards opening and then hitting walls or into other cupboards…one of our kitchen cupboard shelves were put in upside down. I lived in a bosa unit before and onni and so I know a cheap rush job. AVOID

As a realtor, not only have I sold homes for Isle of Mann Property Group, but I have also purchased an investment for myself at one of their projects as well. This company consistently pushes out high quality homes, complete with excellent customer service and communication before and after possession.

I have purchased two units from IOM over the last 6 years, one at their Station One project, and another at The Crescendo. On both purchases IOM was very pleasant to deal with, their staff is professional, caring and have always done their very best to accommodate me during the purchase process, and throughout the ownership of both of my units. I have dealt with a few other developers and would rate IOM near the top based on my experience. I would recommend IOM to anyone looking for a new home and I would most definitely buy from this builder again. Thank you, IOM - for a positive homebuying experience!!

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but having lived in an IOM build since new, I feel as though I should. When the unit was purchased new in 2016 I was under the impression they were of quality and trusted the agent. However since moving in, myself and others have had issues and I would be wary of purchasing a build from them again. The quality of finish and construction have been subpar at best, and was noted as such in a warranty review. I wanted to give my experience for anyone looking to buy in a condo from them, to be cautious.General: The underground parking structure floods when it rains and has hairline cracks that allow water ingress, was fixed under warranty but is currently under review again. Several bolts and screws peep out of concrete poles, and the sump has broken down twice. The elevators are noisy and break down all the time, for things as simple as holding a door open for a neighbour. The hallway carpet is in need of replacing after only two good shampoos, and the paint on the common walls did not hold up. The interior walls were repainted after two years and the exterior of the building was already in need of a full repaint after only 2.5 at a cost of around $10k to strata with some panels already needing replacing. Several hot water tanks have had issues, and one caused a flood requiring an insurance claim. The garage door breaks down a lot, and at one point closed on a residents car. Many balconies needed to be redone after the first warranty review for pooling, many railings missing screws, etc.Unit: I’ve lived in the unit for four years. The same paint that was used in the hallways was used in the units, many units were in need of a repaint within the first year of light living. The carpet was equally as questionable with many owners opting to rip it out. After three years and no spills, I replaced it, because of how it was wearing. I’ve had to replace a couple outlets and light switches due to them breaking. The track lighting unit in the kitchen broke after week one. There are gaps in the laminate where they cut around the cabinets. When I went to repaint, I noticed they hid a baseball sized hole in the drywall with the vent cover for the stove, which itself broke into two pieces when it was moved. The front door doesn’t clear the gap from the floor so you hear all the goings on in the hallway and they can see your floor. The tiling quality was poor with the kitchen, grout flaking out consistently on its own with no use or cleaning at all. The shower tiling and caulking is iffy also, and to prevent leaking it’s been recommended to me by a professional to have the whole shower ripped out and redone. The balcony membrane has hairline cracks, with the wood trim splitting at both ends. There’s water staining on the ceiling where the unit upstairs had a slow leak from surprise, another hot water tank. The counters are nice, and so are the blinds, but that’s about all I can say because some identical units to mine have more cabinets, or even less. We joke and say no two kitchens are the same!I am hoping the quality of the finish doesn’t reflect the quality of the guts of the building, so to speak. I bought new so I wouldn’t have to worry about these types of problems, but it is my fault for not getting an inspection done. I’ve talked to a few realtors about selling, and when they hear which building I’m in they comment on issues and point out they resell for less than other units in the area. Overall I regret buying in the building that I did, and while I can’t speak for their townhomes, I’d recommend if you are looking to buy a condo building from them definitely do your research.

I have never written a review, but because dealing with IoM has been so horrific, it would be a disservice to anyone else looking to buy from them to stay silent. We bought a brand new build (townhouse) and the quality was average, at best (they've managed to find the lowest quality of paint known to mankind). After four months, there are still have outstanding deficiencies which have yet to be acknowledged. Mario, the site manager, requires numerous follow-ups in order to have anything resolved. We have inputted our list of deficiencies on the homeowner portal as instructed, and yet, he still finds the need to email us (on numerous occasions) to ask what deficiencies need to be taken care of. In addition to the slow, almost non-existent service, when we do get an update/reply, it's usually just to tell us that one of their contractors will be in touch to book an appointment. Half of the time, we do not hear from these contractors or we end up booking an appointment and having them not show up, which results in yet another email to Mario asking for an update. There is also a clear gap in communication as when the contractor does eventually show up, they are unaware of what needs to be fixed. We are currently waiting for the cabinet/drawer repairs to be done - a contractor had previously come, but because he was not aware of all of the deficiencies (which, again, were uploaded on the portal), he advised that he would need to book another appointment because he did not have the necessary tools to complete the repairs.A house is a major purchase/investment - one cannot just shrug off this incompetency. During our walk-through, Mario assured us that IoM was not like all of the other developers and that they would not run away once they gave us the keys. Unfortunately, four months later, we have come to the realization that they do indeed run away once they hand you the keys and get their money. I would think twice before purchasing anything from them again.

Purchased my first new home from Isle of Mann this summer and the overall full experience wash good. It was ready on time with only very minor deficiencies that were all resolved right away. I would recommend my friends and family to purchase from this property group.

Isle Of Mann Property Group consistently builds some of the best quality homes on the market. I have had the opportunity to see this first hand as some of my clients who bought IOM homes are more than satisfied with the end product. I also recently purchased a condo by IOM in South Surrey - White Rock and was very delighted to see the quality and thought put into the homes. I recommend all my clients to take a look at IOM's work! 10/10

I'm living in my second home now with Isle of Mann. They are super professional and responsive. They take their customer service above and beyond. I've had the pleasure to work with both Beni (my first place) and Mario (second place). If you're looking for a new forever home, Isle of Mann is definitely the way to go!

My house was finished by Isle of Mann eight years ago.We found the sewer pump alarm buzzed yesterday evening. The engineer of Isle of Mann arranged experienced plumbers come to fix it once he got my request for help. The plumbers came and fix the problem. They told me how to avoid this kind of problem as well. They are always great help.
