My partner was a strong employee of this place for about a year. We have had problems in the past with George the owner of the pharmacy employing some difficult housemates to live with as we lived in is staff accom. It was not too much to hassle up until recently he had two criminals move into our home who drank and drugged and kept the house loud. it was tolerable until this weekend my brother was visiting from campbell river. at 2 am we were watching a movie and they came in belligerent and drunk, I . asked them to wrap it up and the both of them attacked me which resulted in a brawl. they threw me on the ground and dislocated my shoulder. I am a surf instructor in town so now I cannot work for 6 weeks. Because he decided not to do criminal record checks and ask us about our living situation. If you want to support a man who allows unjust violence to his employees and tennants that's up to you i am just here to share my peace.

Neat things here for ok prices, staff is nice place is clean ish.

Don't be scared away by the odd outside. Pretty good assortment. Found stuff we couldn't get in the other stores in town. Prices were cheaper than Wallmart in Port Alberni.

I just picked up a couple of beach mats there to try and save our extremely sandy damp towels. The guy at the cash was super friendly and chill.

The employee was very rude. As soon as we stepped in the door she said she was closing shop in 5 minutes. Which would have been fine, except she then basically told us to leave and that had we not come in she would have shut already. It left a bad taste with us and we won't be back.

Incredibly rude and unprofessional pharmacist. Pharmacist was dealing with another customer and asked us what we wanted while still discussing issue with other customer.Prior to our exchange he was also extremely curt with an elderly couple who clearly needed some support.We said we could wait as he was busy but he told us ‘I’m dealing with a very important issue here what do you want’. Not wanting to discuss our health concerns in front of a stranger, we asked part of our question, he answered and then as we walked away he made a snarky comment to the customer he was dealing with.Appreciate that it’s a busy long weekend but the lack of regard for patient confidentiality was pretty astounding.
