This is one of my go to shawarma places in Calgary! Not only is the food always amazing and fast, the staff has been incredibly kind. Samar is always a staff member I run into whenever I go and she greets us with the biggest smile everytime. Every once in a while when we go and see a new food we have never tried, they have given us a complimentary sample and Ive never been disappointed with the food! The passion behind their business really shows. Kitchen is always clean and always busy.My go to food is the chicken patters and my favorite part is how tasty the rice is but never oily. We also order the hummus with pita regularly and it is some of the creamiest hummus ive found in the city so far.Highly recommend giving Shawarma Barlow a try!

This has been my go to donair shop for a long time! Portions are huge, the flavours in the sauces and meat is delicious! Shout out to Lesly! Super friendly, great service and she always recognizes me when I come in. A true hidden gem, definitely check them out!

Lesly at Shawarma Barlow recommended the best platter and side choices for this weary traveller. Her service was impeccable and the food was absolutely amazing. I went back a month after my first visit for the same exact wonderful experience and excellent food. This is a must for those who love eastern cuisine!

The good: The spicing is decent. They used an inner bread layer to hold the sauces in place so the wrap didn't leak juice everywhere. I didn't have to wait too long.The bad: the wrap was room temperature by the time it got past the till. There were only 2 people ahead of me, so it didn't have much time to cool off. It just wasn't heated enough. This is probably done so it didn't burn, as the outer bread layer was extremely thin. I'm surprised it didn't tear under it's own weight. The staff were also bored let-me-get-through-the-day minimum wage workers. They didn't seem to enjoy their work. Also the Samosas didn't come with any sauce.

Very friendly and welcoming family business. I tried there falafel wrap for the first time. It was absolutely delicious and very filling. Also all the Ingredients were fresh and falafel were also fresh they have there own in house recipe. Will definitely be trying them out again!

Do you like Shawarma? Then come here. A jewel in the rough. The food is excellent. My partner and I came here and had the beef donair platter, the mixed beef and chicken poutine and the falafel platter. Guys, everything had amazing flavor. The chicken, the beef, the falafels and the pickled veggies were scrumptious.And the portion size? Are you kidding, check out my photos. Honestly, overall, great bang for your buck.Best thing I love about this place is they actually pay their workers really well, so tipping isn't necessarily mandatory. That's so rare nowadays.Keep it classy Shawarma Barlow. You're my new favorite place.
