Not deserving even 1 star, staff are very lazy they don't know the actual price of the part they say what comes from their guts and while checking the part hangs up the phone. Very rude not recommended.

I bought a lawnmower battery at this location and the battery only lasted 4 months.They said we could exchange the battery if I had an account. I Give them my number and they found my name and transaction. But now they could only try to charge it. I said no I want a new one it says 12 months free replacement on the battery. They said they couldn't replace it all of a sudden..They did not uphold they're end and now I am out 70 dollars.

This place is great! They have hard to find parts and different tiers of parts. Very friendly people as well. They actually had a PCV system with check valve and a brake booster hose with check valve in stock for my Saab 9-5. Prices when compared to online retailers is also reasonable.

I have only good experiences with this location. Even during the pandemic, they are providing excellent/accommodating service for what I need. Can't say anything bad about the Bowmanville location & its staff. I will say that the Carquest's overall website needs a serious rework, but I'm still giving this location 5 stars.

On multiple occasions in recent months both my boyfriend and I have purchased incorrect parts from them. Even when given specific details about the vehicle. It should not be that difficult. It has happened one too many times now. most recently with an oil filter. Which we have purchased the correct one numerous times before. But lately, I dont know what's going on there.The staff has always been pleasant and helpful. Prices are great. But continually needing to return items because they are incorrect is not good business. we are both fed up, and most definitely taking our business elsewhere from now on.

Clean, well laid out store. But one of the counter staff Keith, was crying about customers coming in at the last minute (20 mins til closing)on a Saturday. He stated that he should have locked the door, to close up on time.Its one thing to think it, but another to complain outright to the customers at the service desk. Never had any issues with any other staff there. If you're that miserable about your job, find somewhere where you don't work with the public.
