Ben Franklin Skating Rink
This rink is really popular with families and it's a very nice place to go to get some outdoor time in the winter. The ice is very well maintained which makes it a great place to learn how to skate. It can get crowded at times though, since it's a smaller rink.

Rink is well maintained, great indoor facilities for changing into skates. I gave it only 3 stars since they missed the boat on many things. No music, no hot chocolate stand and they close in early March!! While the weather is more than great to continue until at least the end of March like Lansdowne. Come one City of Ottawa, wake up.

Dec. 12 2021. Rink is dirty. No rubber mats AT ALL. Most skates are getting damaged when kids walk on the steps.Zamboni only cleans" but not conditions the ice. So it's rough ice. What's going on??? Not impressed.PS. Online says you have to reserve your spot. Not true. What's going on??? Poor management."

Very enjoyable, free, has a shelter to change skates and mats to walk to the rink. There is adjacent street parking and a parking lot nearby
