Gare Centrale

Fácil de llegar. La estación es pequeña pero tienen tiendas y lugares para comer. El acceso al tren fue rápido. Los trenes estaban limpios y el personal fue amable, lo único es que le faltan cinturones de seguridad y que los asientos se reclinen más.

Everything is well organized and clean.My ticket was for around 6 in the morning, so the station was quiet.The main board gave me all the information I needed about the track and departure time.The control officer just scanned the QR code in my phone and let me in.The train left on time and the officers of the cabins are welcoming.

The station can be a little overwhelming at first, but it's not really that bad. It has a wide selection of shops and restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful. The Lounge is beautiful and a great way to wait to board your train.

We took the VIA train from Toronto to Montreal. I like how easy it is to navigate at Gare Centrale. It only took one escalator ride from the platform to the lobby. There are ticket machines to purchase transit tickets and passes. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. **I highly recommend the 3-day All mode A" unlimited transit pass

La gare centrale de Montréal, what a marvel of engineering and architecture. Offers direct access to Montreal's downtown and amenities.Has a McDonald's and other shops to grab something before the ride. A welcoming atmosphere to the big city with a sugar heart.

Very busy spot...But lots of helpful..kind staff all over the main areas...Food court..bathroomA plc to just relax..Waiting areas

Awful experience, when we got there everything was closed.. all of the restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores were closed. After searching for half an hour just to find something to tie us over for our train ride we didn’t find anything at all. After waiting in line for the train me and my two friends were all getting our tickets scanned when my one friends didn’t work and the worker just said “ya your ticket doesn’t work go over there” and then proceeded to tell me and my other friend to go to the track, as if we would leave our own friend by herself??? So then we went to the desk which obviously had 1 worker who didn’t even seem urgent to help us, when we told him the problem he acted like he didn’t care and keep in mind it was 6:13 and are train was leaving Montreal to go to Toronto at 6:20 and this worker had the nerve to say to me and my 18 year old friends “calm down, relax” and then she said “I am” and he proceeded to stop helping us and say that we weren’t calm. Oh ya!! And was being so hesitant on letting her pay for the ticket(making it seem like she couldn’t afford/pay for it)?? so weird. Overall worst experience i’ve experienced at a train station EVERRRR!! Sadly I didn’t get their names. :)

It does the job it is supposed to do. Was there on a Sunday afternoon and several shops were closed, so I feel like I didn't get the full experience. Beautiful relief of O Canada on the walls above the entrances. Conveniently located for downtown Montreal. Clean and bright.Via Rail staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
