My husband, adult son and I were in your restaurant today, Monday, June 26, 2023 for lunch at approximately 12:10 pm.My husband ordered the club sandwich, my son ordered the old style bacon & cheddar and I ordered the chicken crisper sandwich with honey garlic sauce (on the side) and we all had fries. The food tasted good and was fine for the most part - except on my chicken crisper the tomatoes were over ripe and kind of mushy and the lettuce was mushy - not a big deal or a deal breaker in any way. But I wanted to let you know that after we finished eating and got in the car and had been driving for about 10 minutes, I got severe stomach cramps and began to feel nauseous. We made it to half moon restaurant where my son had an interview. I got out of the car and ran to the washroom in half moon, where I immediately vomited and had diarrhea. The cramps continued for several hours afterward. It is now 5:30 pm and I am still experiencing stomach cramps and diarrhea (though, thankfully, I am not vomiting anymore).Lunch was NOT cheap. It came to approximately $78 (not including the $10 tip) and we didn't even have any alcoholic drinks - just cokes.In light of this, we will not be eating at your establishment again.

I recommended this for a working lunch. Embarrassing! Smelled like septic sewage and had fruit flies attacking us the entire time!I was a regular customer before covid, and it was immaculate! I would not recommend entering this facility until someone posts a review confirming the septic and bug issue is dealt with

Service was good. Roast beef was a bit tough.We were a group of 12 today for breakfast and overall it was not as good as I had hoped. I think that a group of 12 is a bit too large for them. I had ham and eggs with toast and coffee. The eggs were hard, the ham was over cooked and the toast was a bit dry. The coffee was so so. I would suggest going as a smaller group.

Weird place. It was empty when we went and honestly a bit of a let down. Went with a party of four, 2 ordered beers, and they were warm. Server didn't say anything when she dropped them off, and we sent them back. Then the gravy we got for the fries was cold, so we sent that back too.Got the mac and cheese which was kinda gritty and not great, but apparently the PO boys were delicious, so they can have a couple stars for that.Probably wouldn't go back.

We used to go 5 or 6 times a year as it is a nice drive from the city. It has been a while. I ordered the hand battered cod with fries. It tasted like highliner cod with freezer burn. 12 French fries and purple cabbage. It was bad. The cook went to another table about 10 feet away from us to talk to friends. The BO was stifling. It was a gem a year ago now its a gas station .

Ordered today, missing items in my order, one meal they forgot the fries. The lady at the front wanted reciept, didnt get one so she gave me attitude. Always get ur reciept if u go here.. so u have proof of their errors. We waited at the front for 15 minutes before anyone came to us. Waited 40 minutes for an order that had missing items. Like jus frustrated us. I would have rather went to the restaurant down the road.

I have been to rickys 7+ times and have to say it has always been great food and good service. Today was 0 out of 5 star experience. I ordered their spring promotion all you van eat hand battered" fish and chips". The fish I received was hands down the worst deep fried fish I have ever had. The outside was literally spongy and felt like rubber and the fish on the inside was mushy...not flaky. No one came to see how our meal was after food was put out so I waived server over and made my concerns known re the fish and figured maybe it was 2 freezer burnt pieces of fish. She apologized and said she'd get them to make another order. The next 2 pieces were brought out by the so called manager who literary placed the food down with no lemon slices or tartar sauce

Came in today for Mothers Day and had an amazing dine in experience. The place looked busier then usual as we expected. My wife had their Mother’s Day special and I had their fish and chips. Our server Mike was attentive and kind. Will definitely visit again.
