Steve complete a renovation for us on our downstairs washroom after we had a flood. His attention to detail and professionalism were second to none. My wife and are are extremely pleased with the completed project and absolutely love our new washroom. We will be using SteveBuilt Inc for our upcoming patio door replacement, and we recommend Steve to all all our friends and family looking to have any work done around their house.

Hired SteveBuilt as our contractor for main floor renovation that included wall removal, kitchen, living/dining room and ensuite bath. Project was completed on time and on budget. Steve’s team was awesome to work with and their knowledge and craftsmanship was evident in their meticulous attention to detail. We recently had a new front porch railing installed by SteveBuilt Inc. Our experience with this company was positive from start to finish! The owner, Steve, was the only contractor who returned our call requesting a quote for the job (we called a total of 4 companies) and he did so within 24 hours. From the day Steve came to assess the job we found him to be very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Any communication with him was effortless as he always responded in a timely manner. The installation was done by Matt and Rob who were also very easy to work with. They always arrived at exactly the time they said they would and always left the work area clear of dust and debris. Steve has many excellent skills. He was expedient, courteous and listened to my requests. He didn't talk down to me or try to talk me into something that I didn't want or into something that was out of our price range. Everything looked great when Steve was finished. SteveBuilt was recommended by a contractor who I highly respect from a previous basement buildout but who now specializes in luxury new builds not renovations. My project was a phased renovation that included multiple bathrooms, the kitchen, the main foyer and a full basement buildout, all accomplished while I remained in the home. At project inception, SteveBuilt provided a detailed, line-item cost estimate where all assumptions on work scope are transparent. They are respectful of client budgets and try to offer innovative design and material options to stay within those budgets. Invoicing is detailed by specific line-item so the homeowner is aware of where they are in terms of budget expended and remaining. The budget allowances are reasonable given the preferred vendors SteveBuilt has established relations with. Unless an unforeseen condition is discovered (e.g., hidden foundation cracks), there are no cost surprises.Owner, Steve Schroeder, has clearly established a service and quality standard that is exceptional, and his employees and subcontractors are aware of and respect this expectation. We just wanted to say what an outstanding and meticulous job Steve and his crew did installing our sliding glass doors. Having a few concerns of wood rot and window size left us with a few unanswered questions, but they met all the challenges and did a wonderful job meeting our standards of excellence. We knew we made the right choice with Steve immediately after our first consultation. He has been professional, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the project. We tasked Steve to update our entire kitchen and living room from an outdated and cramped 60s style layout to a modern and open concept look.
