BS&B Radiator

Took my Honda in for no AC. $500 later he said it was fixed, it was an electrical problem. I paid the bill and drove home. 30 minutes in to the drive the AC stops. I take it back. He spends some time looking at it again and then tells me it is a problem for Honda that he isn't fixing it. To his credit he doesn't charge me for this second look but when I bring up the subject of a partiial refund of the $500 I paid for nothing he argues and walks away.I was willing to split the bill with him to cover his costs but I didn't feel he should be making money on something he didn't fix. He is $500 up and I have a car with no AC.

charged me over 500$ for charge and dye and two O rings for my ac. a few days later it was blowing warm air. i took it back he said it was a problem for the dealer ship. i took it to another mechanic and he said that there should of been a tag IF they charged the AC. the other mechanic couldn’t even get any freon in as there was a blockage. this place is a joke . save your money

Grossly overcharged for a relatively small repair on an antique car fuel tank. Actively looking for a radiator shop to build a custom radiator for my 55 Thunderbird, not sure BS&B Radiator will be considered for my custom radiator needs.

Went there due to car overheating with a small leak as no coolant was dripping. I topped up the cooling system and then I had Drivers side with no heat.They flushed system And told me to pick it up. For a flush of the rad and chemical cleaning, $600 later, I was on my way. I called the shop and told him it is still leaking and I topped of the cooling system. The car only made it half way to London and it needed to be towed which I paid for.They said they replaced a plenum gasket, for another $1100 ,I was Half way home to St. Thomas, when I pulled over and talked to wade to tell him I have no heat and the car smells like antifreeze. They clearly didn’t bring the car up to temp so they could check for heat and no leaks. He told me he’s too busy, but bring it in next week.Well, I didn’t the drive car till the following week and only made it half way there as the car overheated and needed a tow, which after a long conversation, he reluctantly agreed to pay for the tow.Now he said that the car needs a water pump, to which I agreed to but was thinking was fishy, but I felt like I had no choice but to authorize it as I need my car.When I get the car, the bill not has the anti-freeze that I’ve paid for three times, but there is $140 charge for the tow truck,After some discussion, I paid the bill of another $700 as he told me, without full payment, I wasn’t getting my car. This after he agreed to pay it over the phone.As soon as the car heated up, it was clear there was no heat on the drivers side. I called Wade and he told me “I don’t want you or that car back in my shop.” And hung up.I assured him he’d never get the opportunity to rip me off again.Even if I was to give him the benefit of the doubt that I had two different leaks and parts were warranted, there is no reason to not check the car by bringing it up to full operating temp to check for heat.Because of their incompetence and poor business practices, I paid for two tow trucks and fluid being replaced 4 times because they gave the car back with unfixed leaks. And they still never fixed the original problem which no heat on the drivers side.I got home and took it to the local dealer. They back flushed the system, filled it up with coolant and like magic, I have heat. I know that they actually checked it worked as the car was at full operating temp when I picked it up.Two thumbs up to Disbrowe GMC Cadillac.Unless you want to get soaked like I did by this establishment, hold onto your wallet and go anywhere else.

I took a rad to have tested for a leak. I couldn't believe that he charged me $310 to do so...the rad turned out to be fine. When I questioned the bill the owner proceeded to tell me that his heat bill has gone up $300 last month and he has to pay someone $20 to sweep the floors these days.. blah blah blah. I will never darken this guys door step again.. I should of known this guys game when he asked me what a new rad was worth.. What a joke. I won't refer anyone here either. I understand flat rates but come on!

The repair cost almost twice the price of a new rad. No estimate given as asked, before the repair.

Skip doesn't skip a beat!Perfect service. Honest advice. Trustworthy establishment and fairly it's priced. I had an issue waiting for a rare 2018 Nissan Armada rad to arrive. The first replacement was sent back because it didn't meet bsb's high quality standards. Skip was able to expedite a replacement and actually kept me informed of delivery play by play until its arrival. They pointed out a couple other unrelated vehicle issues that saved me future costly repairs. These guys know how to earn a customer for life.Very satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend to anyone and not just for radiators. It's hard to find honest mechanics.My service was completed about 3 months prior to this review.Thanks guys.

Awesome place. I have gone for work on my car as well as taken friends there. They know their stuff and fair prices. Only place I know of that repairs rather than replaces rads. Staff are great to deal with and always fun to talk to. Honest & reliable service!

Owner was very rude when I walked in and was very short with customers. He didn’t offer the time or patience to hear out concerns and often interrupted. Overall, customer service was terrible and dismissive.
