Great place to stock up on whole or ground spices and incense. You’ll find less common spices and items like pectin here. Savings are good if you buy the 400g spice packets. Prices are as good if not better than big chain stores and staff are friendly. Support local families & businesses!

This place is Mecca for me. The sheer number of hard to find spices, both ground and whole, is fantastic. Prices are reasonable; service always with a smile. By far the best shop for any home cook.

I drive across the City for the Carlos mix of coffe beans. You can find anything spice, pasta, legume, nuts etc etc etc in the amazing shop for great prices. All prepackaged in a variety of sizes. Love this place.

A popular fixture of Kensington Market. Carlos' House of Spice has one of the best selections with some of the most reasonable prices for spices in Toronto. Great selection of coffee as well.

I had an absolutely fantastic time exploring all the isles, I really felt at home smelling so much of the spices! The prices were good and the cashier gave off a super friendly vibe. I was hesitant to walk in but I'm really glad I did, definitely felt very wholesome. I will definitely be using them for all my spice needs in the future!

Carlos House Of Spice is Life!!!I have been shopping here for about year. First it was just small items for my tea but slowly I found myself finding more and more amazing food products that enhance your life and well being. The herbs are so fresh that whatever you spice up with them is going to make your mouth water. Plus the people who work there are incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the shelves I can’t recommend that place enough.

This is our new go to place for all things spice in the city.Store is well stocked with an array of spices and seasoning from around the world along with grains, beans, nuts and coffee just to say a few.Thou it's a tight fit if it gets busy there is sufficient space to move around carefully.Choices are plentiful, the owners are easy to talk to and quick to offer helpful suggestions and advice with a smile.Cash, debit and most credit cards except Amex is accepted at checkout.Absolutely most stop in the Kensington Market area.

This place is amazing! They have every spice you could ever want, and all at a good price for high quality ingredients. This is also a good spot for coffee and tea - their tea selection takes up an entire wall, and I can personally swear by all their fair trade coffee blends (which are a great deal as far as fair trade goes). The staff has always been so friendly and helpful.
