I like shopping at home hardware until I have to Drive out back. They have cut staff to the point where you can be sitting there waiting for the thing to raise so you can come in.

The customer service lady today was extremely rude and short with myself and other customers. Won’t be going back to this location because of her. The customer ahead of us asked for change for 20…instead of being courteous, she was rude and dismissive of him. When I got to the counter her negative attitude was apparent in the way she spoke to me when I inquired about something. Horrible service. This happened about 10am or so at this location. Do better.

This place has come along way in the 11 yrs I have been in the neighborhood. It was ironic being a hardware store. The money was never put back into itself. You can definitely see the gradual changes that have been taking place. Clean, friendly, helpful and well organized. Even busier this time around.

Jerry in the plumbing section and the gifted people on cash, a great store to get all your renovation needs. A staff who know the store and are willing to assist.

Nice store allow you to walk around and shop without bothering you staff were helpful good large selection of everything clean neat will be back I'm member of moose across street . Worked at this store 1969 70 71 mathews lumber building materials was always crazy busy but we gave good service fast accurate much more self service to day

My partner and I went to HH to return some plumbing parts. We were trying to fix our gardening hose, but felt defeated after the parts we bought were not working. Our intention was to return the parts and come back another day to tackle the challenge… but just as we were about to give up, this wonderful lady named Kim asked us if we needed help. We showed her pictures of what we were dealing with at home, and she immediately knew how to help. She reassured us that the parts we got were correct, but then directed us to extra parts we needed. She then proceeded to tell us exactly how to fix our problem at home, with a step by step visual illustration. We wouldn’t have been able to fix our hose without her! Thanks Kim! And thanks to the kind lady at the cash register who welcomed us into the store! And to the gentleman who escorted me to the restroom! HH staff is super helpful and kind! And if you need any DIY plumbing advice, definitely look for Kim :) She’s patient with you, and makes sure you leave knowing what you’re doing!Here is a before and after of our hose

Had the lumber we needed in stock. Paid at the front, then Pulled van into the bay area and one of the staff loaded everything up for us. Nice and easy.

Great personnel from every department. Enjoy browsing and all questions answered. Even a great place to bounce ideas around and creative suggestions were made by staff. Thank you

I was trying to buy a bee mop. They were $3 cheaper at Canadian Tire, so I decided to price match. I confirmed with the teller that they do price match and showed him the ad for the Canadian Tire Price. He called his manager to approve the price match and was told to tell me they don't price match. I'm assuming this was due to laziness and the manager just not wanting to come to the front counter. The teller was very apologetic and embarrassed which is why I'm giving 3 stars. Horrible management though. Anyways, if to Canadian Tire to give them my business instead
