The first time I went there to shop I witnessed the owner completely berating one of his customers. Swearing and yelling at them! I could not believe it!!! I will never shop in this store again. I prefer to support honest, kindly business owners that treat their staff and customers with RESPECT. I go to RONA in Lac du Bonnet for all of my hardware needs. Norm is a true gentleman, very helpful and respectful. He even offered me a bed when my house burned down in 2015! I highly recommend you take your business there!

Lac Du Bonnet Home Hardware Building Centre
Although they have undoubtedly the largest selection of hardware and Co, the helpfulness of this store is fluctuating like the weather. Some day sunny but others just bad weather. I have not figured out why this is. Also seems to be the only Home Hardware who outright refuses any type of price match.Orders (pretty much no matter what) seem to take forever. Never have to wait that long at other Home Hardware like Beausejour or Selkirk.

Oh my, so much in the store from hardware to furniture. Loved looking at all the furniture and outdoor stuff. Didn't realize how big the store is. Will go back again.

We purchased a chest of drawers and it was damaged . We sent emails and pictures of the damaged . Asked for discount they said it could not be discounted . We paid for delivery , because it is out of town it would be too much in gas to send back we had no choice but to keep it . We are not satisfied with the chest of drawers or especially the costumer service provided . We loved shopping at the home hardware but are now turned off because of this incident .

Always great service, fair prices and accurate stock. I've never had a bad experience at this store. They do a great job of balancing the needs of the town and the surrounding cottage country with a wide array of items.

Well laid out store. Pretty friendly and helpful staff. I grabbed some lumber today and had no problem waiting, however when the yard worker finally appeared he immediately threw his hand up and grumbled that he was with another customer and by himself today, cruised by me and went about his business. Again, didn't really care as I was not in a rush. However, I also don't care that you're having a bad day. Just say, Hi

It is my favourite place to shop when we are at the lake. We went there today to purchase some items for our cottage DYI and ended up purchasing a new box spring and mattress. It was delivered the same day! When we were doing our cottage renos we purchased most of our items from HD. We do our best to support the local businesses whenever we can. Al and the staff have always provided us with great service and fair prices.

Huge hardware store in Ldb.Great selection of parts.Staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful.But, a little frustrated with their constant shortage on items.This may be due to recent times, but the other Home Hardware stores, I have visited in Mb., dosen't seem to have this issue.Cant use the Home Hardware website for this store, as their inventory is not updated online.Maybe a small town issue, but again, this isn't a problem at the any other Home Hardware's store out there.But, to repeat, the staff is just great.
