They were helpful in picking out a costume, cleaned it up nicely for me, and it was $115 with tax (reasonable) for Suit, hat, feather, tie, suspenders AND shoes. I was pleased

This is a wonderful store in the Vieux-Port (Old Port) section of Montreal. Lots of variety. It felt like the staff there helps to find costumes for Radio Canada/Canal Plus Productions and the CBC. They are French-speaking but also speak English. They are closed Sunday and Monday so by Tuesday my anticipation had risen to a fever pitch. Because of the neighborhood, you feel like you are stepping back in time. They are across the street from the Centaur Theater, which is the oldest English-speaking theater in Montreal. Good window displays, all price ranges. Montreal has many festivals so if you are looking for some flair for an event, consider this place. Lots of good historical costumes.

Dear Friends. I have conducted business with Ponton on four separate occasions and it was perfect each time. I reserved in advance each time and one of these times four complex costums and it was dead on ! The costumes are terrific. Go there in person and make your selection!
