The absolute best in cage free doggy daycare and boarding!Auntie Shannon genuinely loves animals! Big dogs and small dogs are welcome.There is a huge fenced in yard with plenty of toys and obstacles to play with along with running, sniffing and digging holes with doggy friends.In my opinion Auntie Shannon’s is great value and from my experience all dogs love it!When I mention Auntie Shannon’s name, my dog (lab) bolts to the door and grabs her leash. When she returns home she is exhausted and sleeps for two days.

i’m very particular when it comes to someone watching my baby (which is my dog.) when i first started bringing him to auntie shannon’s i was nervous just like any animal parent would be. but my dog gets so ecstatic when he sees auntie shannon’s! which makes me absolutely love and feel comfortable with leaving my dog in their hands! the staff is so kind and so are all the dogs there! i’m in love with this place and i’m sure anyone else would be too!

Shannon is an attentive groomer who loves her job and cares for the dogs who stay with her just like you would if they were home!

My boy Tyson lives his absolute best life when he gets to visit his Auntie Shannon. We lov it there so much we are willing to drive the distance to visit, weekly. If you are looking for quality, loving care for your fur baby then Auntie Shannon's is the place to go.

I left my dog in Shannon’s care while we went on a trip for 2 weeks. She is a flight risk and was fairly new to our family. Shannon treated her just like her own. Our dog had a great time and was in such great spirits when we picked her up. She sure is tired from all the fun!I would highly recommend Auntie Shannon to anyone looking for very personal, loving care for their dog.

Excellent groomer! She always treats our dog Baxter very well, and performs great grooming services! Baxter can be quite fussy with other dogs, and is usually nervous when traveling to different places. When I pick him up from Auntie Shannon's he comes out quite happy with a great new cut! You can tell Shannon actually cares about the animals, and takes the time to gain their trust. Highly recommended!

We ended up using Shannon because I had to make fairly last minute arrangements to board my dog before a trip. She was one of the only borders that had room. I'm very glad we chose to use her and will be again.She looks after a large amount of dogs, but has a huge property that they are able to run around and play on. She detailed the process of how she looks after them beforehand, including how she stores and tracks their food, how each dog gets fed individually and how they're kept together. She works incredibly hard, but is also passionate about what she does.I haven't had my dog very long and she's a rescue. Though she's quite chill, she had been very stressed before this, to the point where she was shedding excessively and had some thin patches on her fur. No word of a lie, since coming back from two and a half weeks with Shannon, all that has gone away. Her fur has filled back out, she's shedding much less and just overall seems even more chill. I guess all that hard playing worked it out of her system.Shannon's rates are fairly standard for dog boarding in Ottawa, but not every place has such a huge property and someone who clearly cares so much about the dogs she looks after. We couldn't be happier and will absolutely be using Shannon again.UPDATE: We left my dog with Shannon for another week before a cruise (this time in the winter) and it was great once again. She was happy to see me, but also acted a bit like a kid who didn't want to leave Summer camp when I picked her up. She loves her time at Shannon's.

Auntie Shannon took in our little Jonny when other boarding facilities wouldn't give him the time of day because he was scared and had some issues that rescue dogs sometimes come with. But she saw through that and gave him the love and care he deserved, which meant he grew to like the farm-like setting, which also gave us peace of mind. I would recommend Aunti Shannon's to anyone.

Auntie Shannon is someone that genuinely cares about dogs. Our dog Dexter loves going to Auntie Shannon’s and comes home tired and well exercised.She is very welcoming and great at updates. She even posts videos and pictures of your fur babies so you can see how they are doing. Our dog Dexter loves his daycare days at Auntie Shannon’s. Upon arrival, he runs in and never looks back.
