My house was damaged from a fire in early 2020. It was such a stressful time dealing with both the fire as well as the insurance company (initially). However, thanks to Vick at Onyx, he helped us through the situation and was very professional the whole way through. The insurance company was telling us we would only be able to get a certain amount to rebuild the area damaged the fire. It’s a very difficult time - my husband and I experienced a significant flood in our condo in October, 2021. We had a once in a lifetime storm hit our lake summer home and left a lot of destruction. Our insurance company was overwhelmed with claims and we live out of the country for most of the year so we were very frustrated trying to get a resolution on our insurance claim and a short turnaround to do the work and not lose our cottage.
