I'm glad this place exists. For all of you saying, it will destroy the public system" - our public system sucks. My doctor just left for Toronto and I'm back on the list - meaning I won't get a doctor for another two years. I've had NPs before - I've never had an issue. For those who don't mind paying

Bluenose Health bridges the gap in primary health care services currently being experienced around our province"Bridges the gap or filling a hole? Either way

SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWNHorrible experience. Left embarrassed and defeated. Had to book an appointment at another walk in clinic as I was told no they would not provide the service for me even though they say they do on the website. I purchased a subscription so I wouldn't have to go to other clinics and was more than happy to pay for these services.Reply to Owner - Contact who? I was told not to call for another appointment for almost six weeks after having just one appointment. How are you going to make it a positive experience for me when your employee did the total opposite? And I did send an email about my concerns. Guess what?? It has gone unanswered so that speaks volumes about patient concerns. So, you get one appointment and then get blown off? I had other issues that needed to be addressed but too bad. I never read anything when I took the membership that I had there is a limit put on the number of visits per month.

I think the people attacking this model are shameful, especially those attacking NP’s and the quality of service they provide. Just remember Dr’s give 10min of their time and rely on nurses to provide them beyond the majority or what they need to know and have for DECADES, SHAME! In addition these costs are truly negligible and tax deductible. The monthly fee wouldn’t cover a bandaid in the US system. If you look closely the most expensive fees are for government and insurance paperwork which truly are the burden of the system. I get it doesn’t work for everyone but it does provide a relief on the system. Congratulations Bluenose Health Care on what I’m sure will an extremely successful business that truly provides change.

A leech on our health care system sucking more resources to be exclusively accessible to the wealthy that will make it harder for taxpayers to receive adequate health care, especially those already living paycheck to paycheck because of inflation. A slippery slope that honestly shouldn't have been allowed to open their doors.

I have had an very urgent health issue but walk-in clinics were all packed and my family DR also left NS currently. No other clinic tried to help me to get referrals on time. My family is now happy to be able to choose other option anyway. I am not rich, non of my family is billionare, health is just the thing that I have to maintain well for my whole family's future, and then the public clinics were not there when I needed . Many other countries are having two layers of health care system mixing with Private and Public. (Look at Au. Don t go too far.) Why is NS not able to reform its system even though the public health care system is not working efficiently?

So happy to have timely access to a primary care practitioner that maintains our records. Our whole family was without a primary care practitioner for the past two years. Bluenose Health offered timely easy access, and the service was exemplary. All I can say is we are so relieved we now have an option to call when we need to see a primary care practitioner.

Please do not use this clinic. This is a private for profit clinic. As stated in CTV News' Private health clinic opening in Halifax" (Feb 24

Here we go, slipping into a dystopian nightmare of a two tier health care system. Dont worry, the rich will surely get the best treatment; us poor will be thrown into the gutter like usual. Anyone who uses this without at least trying to advocate for a better public health system should be ashamed of themselves.
