Our gate was installed November 2019 and we were VERY impressed with the quality of it and the installation which was incredibly quick! After researching gates online, we found they had the best price and design for our needs.Communicating with Alex through email and phone was a pleasure. He was very accommodating and answered all of my questions. I found him to be very helpful with his information and advice.Word of caution, as I’m sure you can appreciate, every gate installation and property is unique. Don’t rely on MGP for all the answers because there is only so much they can anticipate and understand about your property.Example, our driveway is on a bit of a hill and even though the gate can open inwards towards the hill, we realized that if it snowed significantly, the gate would not have enough clearance to open. Therefore, we decided to have the gate open outwards towards the road which meant positioning it further from the road to give vehicles enough space to enter the driveway and be clear of the opening. Good thing we had figured this out before digging the gate trench!If you elect to have MGP deal with the trenching of the gate, you would be wise to have a yard or two of hard pack or three-quarter stone at the ready to be used in the trench for leveling purposes, drainage and filling the hole.The running of the electrical wiring and trenching from the source (house) to the gate is not included in the price of the gate. We elected to hire a local person to trench the 400 feet necessary and run the conduit and electrical wiring for the gate hookup ourselves.To save a little money, we decided to trench for the gate at the same time.During gate installation, our trench wasn’t wide enough on one end and required a little tweaking. Alex and his assistant did not hesitate to grab their shovels and make it perfect.All in all, my wife and I would give MGP 4.75 stars on a 5 STAR rating.We LOVE our Mastergate and have since installed cameras on it. We feel so much more secure!!

Master Gate Plus put together a dream gate package for a new property. From start to finish the communication was great and they listened and delivered exactly what I was looking for. Quality is top notch and they delivered many hours away. Highly recommend this company.

Outstanding quality and capabilities. The gate is spectacular, and quite complex to fabricate and it was delivered on time and perfectly to specifications!I was a little concerned with after sales service, given proximity to Mastergate Plus, but I can attest that Alex and his team are first rate. Four years after the initial installation I had some issues caused by the snow removal contractor damaging the gate. A quick email to Alex was all it took; he came personally to repair and resolve my issues to my complete satisfaction.Very impressive - congratulations to this great Company not only for it’s novel capabilities, but also for putting it’s customers first!
