Are you looking for honesty, hard work and fair prices?I had taken a 2015 diesel car into a local dealer due to an engine light on the dash and was given a quote of $21,384 + tax, to replace the engine. I drove the car home and contacted Paragon Auto Service – Heather & Steve.Heather was very sure it didn’t require an engine and Steve was very honest about the issues that may come up if he delved into the problem. I felt it would be far less costly than my original dealer “estimate” and left the car in their capable hands.The car was fixed with a strict eye towards detail, including catching a broken adjuster on the cam pulley - Amazing Work! These individuals had the car back on the road, no fuss, no hassle, for less than $2000. (This price included the regular maintenance work that was upcomming in addition to the engine problem!)I feel that I’ve won the lottery! Not only have I saved $20,000, but I also have an auto shop that I know is Reliable, Trustworthy, Honest, and Fair – you could not ask for anything more!A huge thanks to these Paragon owners for their exceptional abilities & high level of service!

We struggled to find a shop that could fix the carburetor on my daughter's '83 Tercel or was even willing to look at it. Paragon agreed to let us drop the car off on short notice after another shop backed out of looking at the car. They were upfront about the estimated repair costs and invoiced exactly what they quoted. I would guess the job was likely one that took more time than they billed us for. We are very thankful they got the car running again and we will definitely be back when our other vehicles need service.

We have dealt with Paragon for the past 30 years. We are always treated well. The workmanship is excellent. They always seek our approval before proceeding with unexpected repairs. They only fix whats broken. We would highly recommend this mechanical shop to anyone.

I have had several bad experiences with other businesses and really had trouble trusting that there was any honest people out there. Several years ago someone was suggested that I go to Paragon and have been taking my vehicle there ever since. I am thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and integrity. They are always friendly and welcoming to everyone. The excellent service with the amazing knowledge is welcoming. They will let me know when something needs attention right away or can wait. My dad and I have been taking our vehicles to Paragon for the past couple of years, on a recommendation from a good friend. Steve & Heather have treated us really well and are very dependable, always upfront with any repairs needing to be done. As a matter of fact, I just picked my car up today, after having a timing and balance chain replaced. Car works great and they even cleaned my car as a courtesy! I'd highly recommend Paragon over any big chain repair shops. Thanks again, Steve, Heather and your entire staff!

This shop is amazing, I’ll explain why in detail but I’ll give you the bullet points first.HonestGreat peopleGreat workAlways able to make time for youWon’t take advantage of youHonest: I’ve dealt with a lot of shops in the past before dealing with Paragon and once I found Paragon I don’t go to any other shops. They never try to get you to replace or repair things that aren’t necessary to be able to charge more, they will show you the failed part they replaced and explain it for you. Once I brought in a vehicle with such and easy fix, a bolt missing or something, I can’t recall specifics, but they repaired the problem with a 30 cent piece within a few minutes and didn’t charge me anything, that would never happen at any other shop, that would be an hour labour charge and a diagnostic charge minimum. I’m so happy to have found a shop that I 100% trust and they never let me down. I would trust them to deal with grandmother and know they would not try to take advantage.Great people: They are the friendliest people to deal with, always willing to work with you, never in a rush or annoyed if you have questions.Great work: Always done quick and well.Always make time for you: In my experience they’ve always been able to book me in within a day or two, I don’t know if this is luck or not, but I always appreciate not having to wait a week or 2 for an appointment.I know this is a long review but since about 2009 I’ve been going to this shop and they’ve consistently impressed me. I cannot recommend this shop enough, you’ll never want to deal with another garage again. Somehow make you feel like a VIP customer and I don’t know how but they repairs always cost much less then I anticipate, I no longer cringe anytime I have to bring my vehicle in for repairs. I first spoke with Heather and then Steve(owners?) about an old classic car that they had done a vehicle inspection on. Heather said that she wasn't sure which car I was referring to but quickly and politely and passed me on to Steve, her husband. Steve took the time to answer my questions even though there was no reason that he had to, he was very forthcoming about what he found.Thanks for the quick chat you two. Judging by the reviews, your shop is likely the busiest in town and deservedly so.

I have worked on carburator's for years and when I have an issue I can't figure out I head to Paragon and get Steve. Always willing to help me figure it out. I have sent many guys over there for carburetor rebuilding and have heard nothing but positive things from his work. I highly recommend his shop for all your automobile repair needs.

Paragon Auto Service will now be my go to auto repair shop! I had the best experience here with very honest and trustworthy mechanics. Paragon Auto Service really came to my rescue with a vehicle issue I recently had. My vehicle drastically needed a new power steering pump. After taking it to another shop in the city and being told that to replace the power steering pump would be $4000. I immediately called various other mechanical shops in the city to find out that the original quote of $4000 was outrageous. Steve at Paragon explained the work that needed to be done throughout the process and the price was great! Paragon was able to fix and repair my vehicle at a fraction of the cost. As a young female, who doesn’t know much about vehicle mechanics Paragon explained the problems and what exactly needed to be replaced. Steve was absolutely amazing to work with in a difficult situation. I could not recommend this shop more to anyone who asks. The prices are fair, the service is amazing and efficient. Steve had my vehicle done in a day and at a quarter of the price then the shop I originally went to. Paragon really made my day with their service and explanation of what was wrong with my vehicle.
