Absolute worst company in the world. Stay FAR AWAY. Take today for instance, I've been calling for support from 4PM. I've had my call hung up on while on hold 3 times. They likely wanted to make me wait until 5PM where you get their call us during business hours" answering machine. That way they don't get stuck 10 mins past 5.... Now I'm stuck without working email for my business until tomorrow."

By far one of the worst customer experiences going. Signed up for this when Costco had a relationship with them, but I can now clearly see why that relationship was severed. I will be looking at moving my hosting to a different platform come renewal time. I also had email accounts wiped out, my website taken down numerous times due to DNS changes" and after repeated emails to find out why this happened

I had been hosting my web sites with this company for more than one and a half decades. Unfortunately I lost my domains because dot Canada did not renew it with their uplink. Dot Canada charged me, got money for my domain(s) renewal but did not pay it upstream. End result the domains were taken over by others and I lost my businesses. I did not get any email notification, I was under the assumption that the domain has been renewed. Suddenly one day my domain was not working and found that each domain was already transferred to different persons as the waiting period etc has been reached without these people not renewing the domain. If you want to lose your domain to some xyz then you can use dotcanada. otherwise try to find some responsible hosting company. I WAS NEVER ABLE TO GET HOLD OF DOTCANADA SUPPORT OVER PHONE. THEY DID NOT CARE ABOUT ME LOSING MY ALMOST TWO DECADE LONG SITES THAT I HAVE BEEN HOSTING WITH THEM. THEY ARE CHEATS PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM THEM.

Worst company in the world. There customer service is incompetent, they make fatal mistakes when they are supposed to be fixing problems. Most recently, they restarted my IMAP email account without permission and lost all of my emails. There are many better companies to get your services from but none worse.

DotCanada used to be excellent many years ago. My current website is down because they didn't renew the domain name correctly - but they were more than happy to take the money.It's been 4+ days and the only sign of life from them is they keep saying they've escalated the ticket.Stay far, far away.

I was with these guys for several years for domain registration and hosting. I got onto them because of a discount available to costco members and their annual hosting was decently priced. I recently moved everything away from them to a more reliable and much cheaper option. I moved because dotCanada recently changed the admin contact of my domain to their own email account, so that they could transfer the domain to a different registrar without telling me. They then billed me for the transfer which was several months ahead of when my renewal was actually due. They said the transfer that they did was purely administrative and didn't impact my domain at all... and they changed the admin contact back to me... but it didn't sit well with me that they would do that without giving me a heads up.... and then they charged me for it. After several emails and phones calls, they reluctantly refunded the premature charges, and I left them ASAP.

They did not renew my domain despite me paying for it and the support is non-existant. This seems like a common problem. Avoid at all cost!

Originally did business with them based on Costco reference, years ago. Have had the odd issues but the last few years has been terrible. Paid my annual fees for 2021, last November. Website they are supposed to be hosting has disappeared, their phone number is not working, send them email messages and no response and their live chat function does not work either (at least it never has a response to your concerns). So they have my money and I have no website. This is fraud. Strangely, their website shows they are located in Sudbury yet the credit card charge shows going through Waterloo - no idea what that is about. Rely on the website for business leads. This is the last company, as it relates to web hosting, you should do business with. Scam artists, in my opinion.

One star because I can't select none. Website is unreachable, can't login, can't access cpanel from several different IP's, can't get any response to emails, can't get through on the phone. What the hell happened, they used to be good, but now, no response. Pulling my business away.
