BC Ferry Prince Rupert Terminal

if I were to summarize the staff of this place in two words it would be: affirmative selection.Apperently having a reservation and ticket paid for doesn't mean much.Person directing me to my parking spot didn't seem to have half a clue What they where doing.The ferry ride itself was alright though.

Way too overpriced for the experience given. I paid 800 dollars and they don't even have WiFi on the boat or a smoking area. They lack in offering comfort on this boat. The chairs are alright, but not for 16 hrs straight. Yes, you can get a cabin but you have to prebook these and you need to pay even more which is ridiculous. They should come standard for these long fairs, given the price payed.The service on the boat is alright, should be because you can eat in a 'restaurant'. A restaurant where your average -not even that good tasting- cheeseburger costs 14 dollars.Bring a blanket or at least a sweater because they crank up the AC very high and it's freezing after sitting still for a long time.

Organized mayhem! Only a few cars go forward in the ferry. Otherwise, it's backyards because ferry has one door only. We took a cabin for night trip. It's small, not well ventilated. It was warm for us. The intercom announcements are heard in the cabin while you are trying to get to sleep. Cabins have showers, towels provided.

Prince Rupert - Port Hardy:Very long waiting periods, no wildlife to see from the deck late June, extremely poor food in the cafeteria- the restaurant was closed - very good cabins, though - be sure to have one - and bring your own food!

The views and scenery arebeyond amazing! The big downside is that our dog had to stay on the car or car deck for almost 19 hours!! Every 2 hours or so, you can walk them between the cars but this is not satisfactory. Fake turf to pee on, or letting us off at a stop half way should be done. Kudos to Amber a BC ferries worker who kindly che ked on our dog. $850 for an experience of a lifetime was worth it.

Having to turn up at 5:30 AM for the 7:30 AM sailing seems a little inefficient and unnecessary. Seems like this could be optimized. I'm not boarding a plane or doing a passport check. Although a plane might be cheaper :-) Note: They will want to see a legal ID before letting you on. We posted a picture-less BC medical card for our non-adult daughter which they accepted.On the ferry -- for which the ticket cost well over $1,000 -- there is no WiFi! :-( And I reserved a seat in the exclusive lounge but the seat mechanism doesn't work.

If there was a zero it would get that! Chris the manager in prince rupert is rude! They lost so they say my 2 big fish totes about the size of small freezers! Now they say they can't find it! Assuming they stole it because they will not help locate it!

Terminal staff are always good. Room on ferry had spit in the sink and layers of dust by the bed... but covid rules were there.
