Bay to Bay Charters

Great friendly service! We went from Sidney to Friday Harbor on a sunny afternoon. With the Sidney to Anacortes ferry not running this is a great way to get to the San Juan islands because the ferry from Friday Harbor to Anacortes is free!The ride was quick and smooth and Captain Miles was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.This was our first Bay to Bay experience and it won’t be our last. I look forward to our next ride.

We had some out of province guests and we wanted to do something different with them They are from the Prairies. We thought this would be a good way they get to see the beauty of our ocean. We contacted Miles from Bay to Bay Charters and boy are we glad we did. We had the best day ever. Miles took the time to listen to our interests and immediately put a plan in motion as to where he would take us. We ended up doing some of the Gulf Islands. He took us to the most beautiful spots. He also gave us some brief history on some of the areas. Before heading back to Sidney we stopped at a shore side pub The Crane and Robin" on Galiano Island. Great food and Great views. Hired Bay to Bay Charters to shuttle us between Roche Harbor and Victoria on Christmas Eve, and then back to Roche Harbor on Boxing Day. What a fun and unique experience! Captain Miles is professional and knowledgeable, and he made entire process - including customs - efficient and worry-free. Highly recommend to all seeking a fun, reliable, safe, timely, and streamlined option to travel between SJI and VI. We look forward to our next trip!

Had to get a very last minute ride from Friday Harbour to Sidney, Miles came through for us in flying colours. Waves were rough crossing but he was skilled and always pleasant. Also gave us a ride to Victoria in his van. Really enjoyed listening to his travels and photography background. We went to Spinnakers and saw his talented photos. Was a pleasure meeting Miles.

Captain Miles provides a truly exceptional service! We hired him to take us from Victoria to Friday Harbor as there is no longer any ferry service and he made everything from the planning process right through to the US customs process totally seamless! Miles himself is fantastic, responsive, charming and a true font of knowledge about the local area. I can't wait to visit again so I can use him for our next trip - couldn't recommend him more!!

We had a great experience using Bay to Bay Charters. Miles took us from Van Isle Marina to Pender Island. Helped us with a parking pass, the luggage and took us right to our friends' house. Communication with Miles was excellent in preparation for the trip. We hope we will use Miles's services many more times in the future. It's definitely a great alternative to long ferry line ups.

Miles helped us out in an emergency situation in November 2022 and got me home safely. Now we have had the opportunity to use his services for round trips from Musgrave Landing to Sidney and his valet service to the airport. And we have also had the opportunity to stay in his lovely cosy Airbnb adjacent to Van Isle Marina. Safe, seamless, reliable and friendly. Can’t ask for more. See you soon Miles!

Captain Miles provides a very personable, fun service for our landscaping crew. He was knowledgeable of the waters and went out of his way to make our experience safe and enjoyable. He was always on time and had a smile on his face. Highly recommended.

Bay to Bay is such a great service! Timely, comfy, and personable. Miles is a class act, and a font of knowledge. We hired him as a water taxi to get us to the ferry. He got us there in plenty of time, and dropped us off right at the terminal. Will gladly use his services again.

Miles took our party of 4 an all-day charter of the Gulf Islands. It was a most spectacular and fun day! We planned to take the ferry to a couple islands during our stay, but this was a much better way to spend our time. His boat is comfortable and safe and Miles is clearly an expert in the area with great local knowledge. He is a most gracious and dignified captain and we highly recommend you spend the day with him!
