Empire Home Inspection was exactly what I needed while deciding to buy my house. I got a detailed report citing both minor and major concerns, and the walk-through with Joe was thorough and professional. He made sure I knew not only what needed repair or attention, but what could be improved upon for efficiency. I can’t say enough great things about Joe. He completely exceeded my expectations. After listening to some horrible stories of my friends inspections going bad and inspectors just passing a home to pass it; leaving wire hanging from the ceiling and plugs on the back porch not working without telling the new homeowners I was nervous when it came time to hire us an inspector. Joe went so beyond what was required and completely got rid of any fear I had. He spoke and answered all my questions over multiple phone calls. He spent 4 hours inspecting our home and then had us walk through with him that day and spent another hour with us explaining everything. Having to purchase a home in Upstate NY from the state of Washington, I greatly appreciated Joe's willingness to go out of his way to help my husband and I make a well informed decision. If you want a thorough home inspection at a reasonable price this is the best option around! Joe was incredible nice, easy to work with, and meticulous. He's happy to explain any issues and why they are issues, and provides a detailed PDF with annotated photos of any issues for reference after the inspection. I vetted almost a dozen other inspectors and he was by far the best option. Anyone cheaper is only cheaper because they deliver a lower quality service and less detailed inspection. This is by far the best bang for you buck, and just overall best option when it comes to inspectors.

We are out of town and needed a home inspection done quickly. We found Joe from an online search and reading reviews. He was excellent. He came out in a pinch, was very knowledgable and helpful. His report was thorough and gave us information about the house that we needed. He wrote the report quickly and spent a lot of time going through every part of the house.
