Good dirt, friendly folks, reasonable cost.Never had any problems with these guys, and there dirt has a nice balance of fertility to coarse non-organics. We never have to worry that the dirt is 'hot

Soil was loaded with weeds that my contractor purchased on my behalf from Central. When asked, Central admitted that their soil had more weeds than usual blaming the weather. They were given the opportunity to make right this situation but they refused to. The soil in this condition should not have been sold or at the very least, customers should have been warned. I didn't find them reasonably priced based on the quality of the product and there are other choices in the Cowichan area that are competitively priced and more professional. Weeds grew over 4 feet tall, and I've been told I'll be fighting with this soil for years.

Val is the best, love heading to the office for a good BS session. Great place for all soils and aggregates. The yard guys are attentive and trained to listen to loading requirements. Keep it local, A1++

Added update: the owner contacted me and I have updated my rating because of this. We went to order some gravel and were told we needed to leave a credit card number because the delivery if 2 yards went by weight not yards. When I expressed I didn't want more than I needed the clerk freaked out by saying I was accusing him of being a thief. I said I wanted 2 yards not more or less and he said that wasnt possible I said I was happy to pay for 2 yards only. The clerk continued to freak out. So I said forget iit I don't want to buy from him and left. I will be calling the owner because this employee was not acting in the best interest of the company.
